Vanity: Ron Reagan links the Republicans to Hyper-Homosexual Bigots
MSNBC ^ | August 31/September 1, 2004 | MSNBC After Hours

Posted on 08/31/2004 9:25:08 PM PDT by mcg1969

OK, now I'm pissed off. Look, I can take a bit of media bias. And frankly I was surprised at just how gracious and positive Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell, and the rest of the MSNBC crew were.

So I guess I wasn't too surprised that eventually, Ron Reagan had to spoil the party tonight on the MSNBC After Hours show, calling Schwarzenegger's speech "ordinary", and "expecting a little bit more."

But what pisses me off ROYALLY is that he launched into a speech about how this party's platform is against civil unions and gay marriage, and made the point that Schwarzenegger is "basically okay with gay marriage" (not true if his recall speeches are to be believed), and that this was the party that is okay with people going to funerals of gay people with signs that say "God Hates Fags."

Where the hell does he get off saying that! I mean, seriously. Do I accuse all the Democrats of supporting pedophilia just because NAMBLA is likely full of a bunch of Democrats? So who the heck does he think he is linking us to such cruelty?

I say this, incidentally, as a Christian who does believe that homosexual activity is sinful (just as I believe so about all extramarital sexual activity). But that's a far cry from those who would stomp on the graves of the dead.

Yes, but the more he opens his mouth, the more he shows how much of a non-player and mental midget he is when it comes to politics. It's a shame the other Reagan son isn't getting more air time.

This is all BUSH'S FAULT! He is personally responsible for setting militant homosexualism back 20 years. I hope he can live with himself. He's leading those rascal Republicans in a revolt to return to a stricter moral code. This is beyond reproach! How dare he!

:) HA! Denote heavy, heavy sarcasm.

How desperate and sad is Ron Reagan, knowing he has the genes of a great man in him and yet he is so small.

And knowing he may get Alzheimer's and knowing that fetal stem cell research offers no hope of a cure.

And knowing that your ballet buddies are all "gay" and you sort of sympathize or even once thought you were "gay" too.

Poor pathetic Ron.

I think Arnold's "Girlie Man" barb hits a little too close to home for little Ronnie junior.

Next door to me is a toy poodle who barks savagely at anyone who walks by. If you so much as look at him, though, he puts his tail between his legs and slinks away. Sound familiar?

Yappy toy poodles aren't worth getting pissed off at.

He is one of the most ignorant people I have ever seen on TV as far as politics is concerned and I cannot for the life of me understand why MSNBC has him on. He is an embarrassment, and he looks like Jiminy Cricket.

Let's face it. If it wasn't for little Ron's last name he'd probably be a pre-school restroom janitor.

Whatever he said on camera just gives me another reason to avoid MSNBC!

Whatever. What a hack.

Even Cici "I'll believe any anti-Bush conspiracy you tell me" Connelly gave the Governators speech 3.5 elephants.

Ron Reagan Jr is an @ss. I can't stand listening to him speech, he mimicks the language of the left. Whenever he speaks, I change channels.

Yes, it does. He should be ashamed because no decent human being of any political party should go to a funeral with such a sign. I have heard of some very strange religious cult that did that, but that is not representative of the Republican party. I would however like to point out that the behavior of hatred displayed by the democrats of late is more in tune with bringing despicable signs to funerals, and or holding a rally at a memorial service.
