I am not upgrading until they get this crap fixed. There is no excuse for releasing garbage with that many issues.

I've had problems getting it to install, and based on what my wife was saying they had going on at work, I'll wait until they upgrade their upgrade.

I upgraded on Sunday. No conflict issues, so far.
But, I cannot delete any files in Windows Explorer or off the Quick Launch toolbar. When I try, I get a Dr. Watson and explorer.exe shuts down.
Weird problem, but I have confidence MS support will get me through it.

I upgraded on Saturday, Office 97 wouldn't work, restored the computer to before the upgrade.
I'll now wait until MS figures how a conflict can exist with its' own product.

I have installed the upgrade on my home PC running XP Home Edition and my work laptop running Professional. Not a single problem with either install.
To: Stoat
Upgraded 3 pcs with SP-2. No problems. All work fine.

Funny, I installed the full version of SP2 (267mb) on both my computer at work and my computer at home and neither has had a problem. My work computer runs a bunch of crap that is notorious for crashing after Microsoft updates and so far it was worked fine.

Just discovered I now can't read my camera card reader.
All the USB hubs are stated as functioning normally yet no cigar.
Infuriating, as usual, with MS.

Office '97 was released in late 1996. You are running software that is nearly 8 years old on the latest operating system. Thats really pushing it where computing is concerned.
Office 97 was designed to run on Windows 95. That is 4 operating systems ago. (Win 98, Win 98 SE, Win 2k, WinXP.) I hate to be the Microsoft salesman, but its either time to upgrade Office or downgrade your operating system.
IMHO
