Buchanan's speech was on a different issue.

It was more on a social issue, if I recall.
It was more to certain people.

The Miller Speech was more on Safety for the country and National Security....an issue that speaks to all people.

Aside from snide comments that maybe Zell is early alzheimer's, they are also going to go after him because he was a segregationist.

But I say, what does this say about their OWN party? He is a Democrat, after all.

Shales is a complete disgrace.

Fox roundtable laughing at the rest of the media/dems for suddenly discovering Zell Miller's biography when they ignored it back, say in 1992, when he gave Clinton's keynote, and all these years.

The thing, of course, is that if Dems' heads are exploding, they only have themselves to blame for nominating that horse-faced doofus in the first place.

Navy Challenging Kerry's Medals

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/9/2/120951.shtml

The United States Navy is challenging the authenticity of Sen. John Kerry's Vietnam War medals, in a development that could prove to be the most damaging yet to the embattled Democrat's presidential campaign.

A Navy spokesman is calling Kerry's Silver Star citation with Combat V "incorrect" as it appears on his campaign Web site, explaining in an interview with Chicago Sun-Times reporter Thomas Lipscomb that the Navy has never issued a Combat V at any time for the Silver Star. ...

Man, I should have stayed home today and just watched the coverage and listen to talk radio. I'm dying here in my cube.

I actually DID do that! Get "sick" and go home!

All of the pictures are great!

Wow, he is such a sweet, handsome, charming gentleman (wiping drool from the keyboard)...

Hope you don't mind a Canuck joining in for the fun.

Off topic, but maybe someone could help me with this one...I thought someone on Lehrer (sp?) mentioned that Laura Bush is pro-choice. Does anyone know if this is true?

Major Garrett just did a story about the madals being looked into. Navy says it could just be a clerical error---however it is the responsibility of the medal reciever to have errors corrected.

I read on a thread this morning that freepers were watching CNN late last night and I think it was the table with Judy WOodruff et al that made the comment.

It was second-hand reporting but I have no reason to believe freepers were trying to give an inaccurate transcript of the comments made on CNN and other shows about Zell.

Old Media is so yesterday.

I think Ron Reagan has the hots for Chris Matthews!

It's the flying spittle that's so appealing.

Correct.

But, my point is that the MSM painted Pat as "hateful and divisive" just as they are trying with Zell. Only, this time, they will not get away with it. To many outlets for truth to be told.

I know he is not popular here, but Imus gave Zell about 15 minutes this morning and a respectful hearing. Heard on Hannity, that Fox is beating all the cable nets, and even the big 3 in prime time coverage.

In Pat's day, that was not possible.

This may have already been posted but FNC earlier relayed Kerry's comments when someone else whose name escapes me did the same thing as Kerry. Inflated his military record.

The guy committed suicide. Kerry called it a serious matter.

It was Boorga who committed suicide. It was a tragic story.
