I thought that Gen. Tommy Franks was added to the line-up?

He mentioned on Hannity's show that he was speaking tonight ..

Zell reminded me of a Preacher I once had. He didn't even crack a smile after making his "spit balls" and "bowl of mush" comments. He also didn't move around a lot. He just stood there with his hands on the podium and let it fly. He was mad as hell and I loved it.

I can't wait to see the President tonight.

Whine......whine..........whine!

I figured it might be better to have ONE thread with everything that's in the news, than 50 threads about ONE INCIDENT!

"The ones on Fox will be the worst of all.
I agree. I no longer trust Fox."

It is fair and balanced. You are just not used to the balanced part. It's ok though. Somthing to compare and contrast. That's how I look at it. Works great.

Actually, my complaint is that I've been able to keep up with the convention threads that have been posted, until I leave for home....By the time the commute is over, and I've had dinner, and walked and fed the dogs, I've missed about a thousand posts! It's become impossible to keep up with...But the threads are appreciated, nevertheless.

******

Interesting.

Mary Lou I would expect. Don't hear much from Kerri Strug. Glad to see she's a Republican. She's from here in Tucson!

I don't see that on the GOP page, but they have made minor adjustments.

Can we possibly top last night with Bush in the round?

Watching him check out the theatre in the round, and listening to him on Rush the other day, I'd say he's READY TO ROLL!

"I have switched to watching CSPAN exclusively. I swear...every time I channel surf over to Fox, Susan Estrich is on! Her voice makes my ears bleed, and if you listen to her too long, you'll get brain damage."

hahahaaaa, I know exactly what you mean. Now I'm not exactly a spring chicken, beauty queen myself anymore, but it like TOTALLY scares me every time Fox puts Susan on... AHHHH, and her voice... If I was Casting to fill in parts in some Screen Play, I would cast her in the Drunken Stepmother role I think...

BRING ON DAY 4 !!! yeee haw! 8-)

It's been a great three days.. It's very good that Franks will speak..becuase, as many of you may recall, I've been saying for three weeks that having Pataki precede W is the one big mistake I saw..He's just a gawd-awful speaker...

The Fox folks are like the proverbial frog in the kettle of water....The frog will eventually boil to death, and never know it. I think the "Beltway Boys" and "Allstars" have spent so much time inside the Beltway, they've been infected by the virus of Washington "group think." It's amazing how Fox's audience out in flyover country can discern their shift to the left, but they cannot. It seems to me that when a pundit can no longer be discerning about themselves, they should quit.

A short while ago President Bush was in the Convention Hall getting the lay of the land.

He looked terrific. Dark suit with flag pin, Laura wearing a very nice red suit (I'm sure they'll both change for the evening)

Karen Hughes was with President Bush going over the stage and such. Then some men with FDNY hats on got their pictures taken with President Bush.

What was interesting was for a pretty long time---5 minutes?---President Bush and one of the men were involved in a pretty good conversation.

That segment is over.

The stage is round now.
