Just heard on WABC:

Kerry will say "President Bush and Cheney are unfit for command."

ROTFLMAO: amazing that such a picture could be a metaphor for the two conventions.

I don't know, with all the people flowing in and out, can you spot and stop one or two people. Especially if that person has credentials....

I listened to the whole thing tonight without posting so I could get a good listen to what GW had to say. This man amazes me.

Bush has articulated a fully matured vision for this war on terro that far transcends simply avoiding another attack, as important as that may be. It is a vision for a freerer world and a freerer country. In a real sense, it is a call to resolve and a higher purpose. It is in some ways a call to the noblest aspect of America's character and history.

Bush has taken up the mantle of Ronald Reagan. And now he is seeking to LEAD this nation. May God bless him.

Y'all, I was a nervous wreck through out this speech, becasue of the protestors

I'm convinced more than ever that we are attached at the hip. After the first protester (and my shouting some rather unlady like language over the poor security) I held my pillow until it was over.

You MUST turn on MSNBC now. I am stunned to hear David Gregory talk about the anxiety people feel over Iraq and our President's leadership that he's heard many times on the campaign trail, and then to say he was touched to hear our President talk about the pain he went through in making that decision and went on and on to praise his speech.

Poor Edwards is going to try to make shit shine.

I suspect that in choosing the battlefield, he has won the campaign.

You nailed it, sec9. Kerry's battlefield is/was VN, and the Swifties took care of that campaign. The President has checkmate!

I missed Stretch's comment.

On CNN, Joe Klein thinks it's a good idea for Kerry to go on the attack tonight.

Which can only mean one thing.....

It's gonna be a disaster!
