Heavenly Father, we thank you for the protection you have given to our patriotic Americans gathered in New York City this week, we thank you for the many blessings of living in this Great Nation. We lift our hands and praise You, the Almighty God, the God of All Creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, the God who led Moses to the Promised Land. Father, may Your hand be upon Madison Square Garden this evening and upon our President, George W. Bush, the most powerful man in this beautiful and miraculous world you have created, a man among men, a man who does not shirk responsibility nor shy from danger, yet a man who is meek in Your Presence, a man who loves Your Son Jesus, who seeks Your face. Today we pray Your will may be his will, that his words will grace the needs of the people and uphold the highest ideals of this Nation, that he will speak his heart and not just politics, that righteousness will flow through him from You to the Spirit of the people. That Your Holy Spirit will move through the room and through the Nation as a mighty rushing wind, cleansing, renewing and uplifting. We pray that your warrior angels will be posted as sentries, as a circle of protection to deflect harm and any attempted works of Lucifer. Our trust is in You, O Mighty Lord of All, Our God, the One God, we rest in you in perfect safety, strength and calm. God, bless America. In Jesus's name, we the People pray. AMEN.

Chris is removed from any display of honor toward our nation. It isn't surprisingly he has no knowledge it is a famous poem. Though it's lyrical phrasing should have been a hint it was more than a political line.

It does also speak amazingly to his lack of prepartion as a journalist. This speech was known in advance, he could have researched but it would conflict with DNC talking points.
