using the Crusades as justification or rationalization for what muslim terrorists are perpetrating today is beyond ridiculous.
Nuke them, and their own 18 month old babies, politicalmom?
Get therapy.
Not enough love of Christ preached in the muslim world but only people to blame are terrorists. Also, people who have no say or action in a tragic event always second guess themselves about what their own faults are so I would not beat up on people for expressing an opinion. The freeper has not posted a further clarification so I'm not sure if it was a good to agree.
The problem between muslims and christians and jews is much older than the Crusades, so I don't think that is it really either.
Absolutely right. How can anyone alive today even know what side their relatives were on in such an affair anyway? Most folks can trace there roots, most can not trace them back that far. Using crusades as some justification is nothing more than an excuse to justify evil being visited today--plain and simple. Absolutely EVERYONE could behave more Christlike, butnot doing so does not justify barrelling into a school and murdering and raping children.
They are all really starting to look ridiculous.
Yes it is, the enemy is here now just waiting for the right time.
School starts here in 3 days, lock and load.
This isn't about the Koran, it is about people using it to justify their separatist demands. Any passage in the old testament can be taken out and used to claim our religion is a religion of war too. Yes, there are passages describing the murder of children and rape of virgins. That God for sending Jesus and His message of peace, and thank God so many Arabs in America have turned to Him. His way is the ONLY way, and there will not be peace through force of nations, only Jesus can bring peace.
I'm afraid I thought the fact that the children were naked was chilling. People don't take their clothes off because they are hot.

Gee foc, you wouldn't be any relation to one4all above signed up to freerepublic the same day as you now would you? And you sign on as a "followofchrist" just moments after a comment about how we should have been more Christlike(well our ancestors anyway). Hmmmm......
I don't care how many names you sign in under, you're still a pathetic troll. Take your peacenik Christian-hippy mumbo-jumbo and stick it. Then take a look at the pictures of these innocent children who were attacked -- then again, don't. A terrorist sympathizer like you would probably get turned on by it.
Kerry doesn't answer questions. Period.
Time to erradicate these DEMONS. Each and every one of them. No more delays!!!!
I'll agree with you on the love of Christ not being preached in the Muslim world, that is their own fault in many ways since they isolate other religions from their midst. We talked about this today in church, not specifically Muslims, but how the sins of the father are visited on the sons for generations and one of those is keeping Christ out of communities or families. By doing so, Muslims have visited death on themselves and others because they won't let Christ's message of hope in.
I have a feeling a troll is in our midst though if you read on.
Satan exists, thus so does evil, and it has throughout history. we are only responsible for ourselves. the muslim terrorists were given free will just like everyone else. Everyone has to choose whom they will serve.
I hope homeland security is discussing this. 9/11 happened a couple of days after school started here. I remember how the aftershock of the attack jolted the students and school staff at the time and how the schools here provided counseling. We've taken steps to protect infrastructure and office buidings and sporting events. We must do the same for our children.
YOu have a good point, especially with orthodox Christians. I don't think all the children were raped, but I do believe their clothes were removed to humiliate them and to make them less human in the eyes of their captors.
