The slaughter at Beslan was so horrific it was enough to test the faith of the most committed of Christians, Archbishop Rowan Williams said at the weeks end.

Williams has admitted that the slaughter had led him to momentarily question his faith in God.

He said it would be inhuman not to question one's beliefs in the light of such evil.

Dr. Williams said that the terrorists had perpetrated the most evil kind of action imaginable and insisted that the murdered children had not been abandoned by God.

The Archbisop quoted the Bible in which Jesus said it would be better for people who committed such offences against children to have millstones around their necks and to be cast out into the sea.

'He is in the middle of all the suffering and He is weeping for all creation and all those involved. All we can do is pray for the sorrowful and the dead.'

The vested interest in destroying the CofE is in the hands of the "shadowy forces" she mentioned earlier last year or so. The head of the CofE has been a freemason since the church broke from Rome. I think Queen Elizabeth is not a freemason even though her husband is a big one. She may face a sudden demise if she revives the CofE after it has been nearly demolished by the forces of darkness. Homosexuality has always been a tool of the fallen angels and of those against humanity- it is a tool to control humans, to demoralize and devide the human family. Mr. Williams would do well to not put so much faith in his own understanding but rely on God no matter what he experiences.

When I see these things take place I look up for my redemption draweth nigh. Anyone who studies the word should be strenthened in their faith. The Bible is great at telling us what the nature of man is and what evil is like.

If the Archbishop of Canterbury questions his faith in God at the time like this, then the man's faith is thin indeed.
These murders were committed by men determined to prove that they could be God - that they possessed the power of life and death.
It would have been more appropriate for the Archbishop to confirm that when he heard of these murders, his faith in the ultimate power and justice of God was strengthened.

Stillllll, seems rather implausible that Diana's guards would have missed the driver being drunk--or her, for that matter.

And, couldn't the blood sample have been planted? Clever people can make airplanes disappear on live TV . . . after all.

Still, I don't know enough about it to insist on a conspiracy. I just don't trust the crown a whole lot--toooooo many puppet masters running around loose wanting the Crown to be included in their plans.

Pretty theologically shallow comment. God permits evil (doesn't cause it) for the good that can come out of this tragedy. Maybe God was kicked out of the school there like He has been here in the USA.

I heard another way to think of this. It is an unseen reality that there is a ferocious war going on between good and evil. Every now and then the veil is penetrated by the flames of this war and we can visibly see what's happening.

The struggle is a hive struggle and the winner takes all = kingship and control of heavan and earth. We are the pawns, the unwitting pawns who fight by proxy for the sleeping gods.

But as Jesus explained "as it is on earth so it will be in heaven." There is some linkage between the two (heaven and earth) spiritually, probably due to the spiritual gift by jesus. His spirit created the church and is the linkage of humans on earth to the inhabitants of heaven. All those in heaven - on both sides - want this planet for their own purposes. We are mere flies and ants to be eliminated if need be. Best to choose wisely; the choice is either to serve heaven or be ruled by the other guys.
