Bush will go hard at Kerry while at the same time being positive about his agenda. He's coming out after his convention with "PRO BUSH" commercials. This sells in the battleground states. He will attack Kerry...don't worry about that!

He's not his father!

So write the Bush campaign and offer your services as a consultant.

This is labor day. Bush will be back on campaign trail shootin' bear with Zell Miller within the week.

Obviousl, clintoon and crew came up with the clever W is wrong stuff.......better then arguing the Vietnam issues with the Swifties......but he has not addressed his anti-war activities......this will still sink his ship.......keep the faith. I haven't seen the ads, but Bush promised to keep this about issues and no personal attacks....he keeps his word.

I have been criticizing the Bush campaign for a year and a half now, but they just won't listen.

That's probably a good thing.

I saw a Bush ad onThe History Channel today. It hit Kerry hard for missing all the meetings on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

You have never fished for the big one?

When it runs you let out the line a bit.

When you're ready, you set the hook and reel it it.

I agree...the President is just letting him have enough rope to hang himself. I mean...c'mon...if you deduct all the time Kerry hasn't been doing his job in the Senate he is still a Jr. Senator...so the Democrats have a Jr. Senator and a Freshman Senator on their ticket. Pres Bush will hit him with both guns soon.

Like that scene in "Tombstone" when Val Kilmer is walking out of the saloon..."I have two guns, one for each of ya."

Bush is letting Kerry "debate himself". Kerry has become so unhinged that he has reversed himself - AGAIN - on Iraq and has resumed his attacks on Bush's NG service, still complaining that Bush has attacked his service in Vietnam (easy enough to prove, Kerry, show us the video, play the audio or show the transcripts).

I think Bush will bide his time and strategically battle Kerry at the appropriate time. He has proven himself time again to be a master strategist and politician. Kerry simply doesn't know what he's up against.

Everyone said the Prez, well, not everyone but many said the President should have hit back harder 9 months ago. Took that as a sign he wasn't going to fight back. Then they slam Kerry, Clinton, Hollywood, Press, DNC- everyone -at the RNC convention when it proved to more effective to do so. It shocked the Dems, they never believed the RNC would be that bold. Even "experts" from our own camp were in stunned belief they were so aggressive and we leapt to our feet in praise. They were "misunderestimated".

I maintain G.W. & Rove are still building to a climax for this election. This is their strategy. They want to be in a position of strength by election day, not losing steam towards the end.

"Kerry is being very specific, talking about the 17% increase in health-care costs, etc., which could be easily responded

The 17% increase in Medicare premiums for Part B (11$ per month)was not determined by the President. Long ago, the Congress and a President signed off on a law that permits the administrator of Medicare to increase premiums. I am not certain the President was even consulted. As far as I can determine not only does the administrator do this, but he or she must according to the law in order to keep some semblance of solvency for Medicare.

Positive will win out. People are so tired of the mud-slinging, especially when it seems petty, immature and full of lies or half-truths.

You don't pay attention very well, do you?

Recall how things started out in the primaries. First Bush released some very pretty, positive commercials. Folks went nuts! The DemoncRATs were complaining about Bush running negative ads against Kerry while Kerry ran negative ads against Bush and the public could see the ads Bush was actually running. Meanwhile Dick Morris was complaining on every show he could about how Bush campaign needed to run spots against Kerry detailing his record. On and on and on.

Duh. A couple weeks later (if even that long) the first of several flip-flop ads + a gas tax one + some others were focused on the battleground states and cable news stations.

Now you'll see the same thing again. It's imperative that the campaign come out of the convention with a positive spot that highlights the agenda and points people to the President's plan, etc.. This is VERY important for the debates coming up as - you can be sure - every other sentence from Kerry will refer to some infamous plan of his, secret or otherwise. The fact Bush HAS an Agenda for the future and is continuing to promote it is key to the short term and long term success of the campaign.

Don't worry, there's plenty of time for all kinds of ads and the Bush campaign is effectively prepared with all kinds of money, now, to use in the most strategic ways possible.

Meanwhile the Kerry campaign is spending $50 MILLION in these couple weeks on spots that will not do much of anything + a movie with more of his phony battle reenactments in Vietnam.

It's called STRATEGERY ;) Guys, I am sincerely worried about Bush's new ad strategy. He is only doing positive soft-soap ads, full of generalities and no specifics, rather than attacking Kerry. He's also not responding to any of Kerry's attacks. Kerry is being very specific, talking about the 17% increase in health-care costs, etc., which could be easily responded to. If Bush keeps this up, Kerry is going to climb right back into this thing, mark my words.

Your words are marked.

Bush is fighting for the soccer mom vote, who decide all elections. The wacko's got their red meat during the conventions.

The Bush dynasty in American politics was not built on being "nice" or "stupid" or letting their opponents up when they had them down. 41, notwithstanding, W is no 41!
This worry crap is ridiculous. frenchie's biggest problem in the next 7 weeks will be breaking 40%. Mark MY WORDS,
by Sept 30 the show will be so over that the only talk will be how many senate seats the rats will loose.
