Hey, Kerry, never trust a Clinton. We learned that 12 years ago.

But somebody commented – and whoever it was certainly didn't seem to have Sen. Kerry's best interests at heart.

Bill Clinton so desperately wants to be seen as a mover and a shaker within American politics that he leaked the information. It's probably the last thing he said before he went under the knife.

This is just a start. Doofus has now put Clinton people in charge of his campaign. Their primary goal is to see that he loses and that Hillary is positioned for '08.

And didn't I just read somewhere that Klinton's doctor was a Republican?

The fact of the matter is, Kerry is just plain boring!!! At least with Klinton, we had a REASON to get enraged! Kerry, on the other hand, is about as exciting to watch and listen to as my garage door.

Panicked presidential candidate John Kerry had every reason to believe that the conversation he had with ex-president Bill Clinton on Saturday would be kept confidential.

What a dumbass. That alone should be evidence enough that Sen. Spitball is unfit to be President.

Bubba was probably on a IV Valium drip prior to surgery. Then they put you out prior to surgery with a vallium derivative that is absolutely powerful. Talkative? Yes, definitely.

Actually, this story is "the most overblown thing."

The article to which it refers may be slightly embarrassing for Kerry, and we know he doesn't handle embarrassment well. But it is not politically damaging.

I doubt there's a plot here to make Kerry look bad. And assuming the "leak" is accurate, Clinton's advice to him
is perfectly sound. Whether Kerry follows it, or whether following it will be enough to win the election, are other questions.

It's silly to assume that Bill Clinton wants Kerry to lose. I don't give him credit for much, but I do think he's a loyal Democrat who has the party's best interests at heart.
I think the same is true of those close to him, Begala and all the rest. (Hillary with her ambitious is, admittedly, another matter.)

The Kerry "shakeup" is an almost equally unimportant story. The campaign will do what it does regardless of who is in charge.

The most important story about the Kerry campaign this week is simply the fact that Clinton won't campaign for a month and a half -- if he follows doctor's orders. But then, breaking rules is something he's pretty good at and loves to do, even at risk to himself. So even this may not end up being important ...

I'll bet it was Clinton's surgeon, who I understand, was a contributor to the Bush presidency.

Let's see, advice offered by Clinton to Kerry becomes front page news. How can Kerry be damaged by something Clinton says? Especially when it is common advice that just about any political observer would agree with.

Hey, Kerry, nobody gives a rat's ass about your Vietnam exploits, be they real or imaginary. Surely, you must have something else you can run on from your 20 year Senate record.

Yeah, sure.

Hey Kerry, you are a fool if you believe the Hill and Bill duo. Besides, you are the champion of leakers. Takes one to know one.

Due respect to NewsMax, but I gotta callon this one.

If this was a "leak" -- doubtful -- it was a deliberate one. Advice from their hero, who for reasons incomprehensible remains popular with their base, is something to be promulgated, not hidden, especially when uttered (bathos alert) from a hospital bed.

Hmmm, lets figure out where the leak came from..

The leak included specifics of a conversation between two individuals

One wouldn't want even the existance of the call made public.

The other wants his wife to run for President against a clear field in 4 years.

You figure it out.
