LANCASTER, Pa. - Teresa Heinz Kerry said Wednesday that "only an idiot" would fail to support her husband's health care plan."Of course, there are idiots," Heinz Kerry, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, told the (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal for Thursday's editions.
Kerry's proposal includes health care subsidies for children, the unemployed, small companies and more; and government assistance to insurers and employers that keep premiums for workers down.
If Kerry is elected, Heinz Kerry predicted that opponents of his health care plan would be voted out of office. "Only an idiot wouldn't like this," she said.
Heinz Kerry stumped in Lancaster, Harrisburg and York on Wednesday, the third day of a four-day campaign swing Pennsylvania.
"I don't have to sell it - the people want it," Heinz Kerry said of the health plan. "The common man doesn't look at me as some rich witch. I talk about what I see. It has always been so. You judge people not by their pocketbook but by their actions. Walk the walk."
Explains the nice bounce Bush has been getting in PA the past few days. Republicans in Pennsylvania would be wise to invite her to stay for another week.
I like that..My thoughts exactly.
And her husband is not looked at as a rich guy with class but a Jack...
Shove it, you idiots!
"Money doesn't buy you class"..typical example.
Ping
Can you imagine what the world would be like hearing this mouth everyday for four years?

Teresa Heinz Kerry says "only an idiot" would fail to support the health care plan proposed by her husband, Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.
Kerry's proposal includes health care subsidies for children, the unemployed, small companies and others as well as government assistance to insurers and employers that hold down premiums for workers.
"Only an idiot wouldn't like this," Heinz Kerry told the Intelligencer Journal of Lancaster for a story in its Thursday editions. "Of course, there are idiots."
If Kerry is elected, Heinz Kerry predicted, opponents of his health care plan will be voted out of office. Still, the multimillionaire and philanthropist balked at the idea that she was selling her husband's plan.
"I don't have to sell it - the people want it," she said. "The common man doesn't look at me as some rich witch. I talk about what I see. It has always been so. You judge people not by their pocketbook but by their actions. Walk the walk."
We sent Genesis to Jupiter.

Oh, man, I'm torn. On one hand, I think she's completely wrong about the health plan. On the other hand, she's an expert witness when it comes to idiocy.
You're absolutely right. I thought they'd have this bioch on lockdown by now.
"Just curious. does every employee of Heinz get a gold plated deluxe health plan? Including the pickers? Certainly Madame Tereza could afford such for her serfs."
Excellent question! How can we find this out?
Companies like Administaff are already providing large business benefits to small and mid-size businesses.
It's a relatively new industry, and it's working.
The Dems must hate the idea that private industry is succeeding where the gov't has failed.
bump!
Hey! All you idiots that don't support my husband...SHOVE IT!
Tell us how you feel about lots of things. Come on, don't be shy! We want to hear all about it.
Well, her majesty has spoken so I guess this is all settled.
