That's a joke, right? I mean, that's a picture of Dan when he was a young man with photoshopped long hair. It's gotta be.
To: Pfesser
Hey - I like Rather... he's a good tipper...

I am not shocked that Rather is sticking by this fraud of a story.
His whole career has been a fraud.
That Rat b@stard better not plan on coming back to Texas now that his career is done.
I'll be waiting on that River Bank. An he aint gettin' in.

"that more important questions than how we got the story, which is where those who don't like the story like to put the emphasis, the more important question is what are the answers to the questions raised in the story,"
Funny how that did not apply to the Swift vets. That was all about where the story came from and zero about the questions raised. I think people are tired of rehashing Bush's ANG service. Unlike Kerry, GW does not go around touting his military service. Kerry just wants us to ignore EVERYTHING he did after he came back (TREASON).

DNC Headlines
Sep 9, 2004: Bush Lied
Sep 9, 2004: Questions George Bush Must Answer About His Service And the articles under those headlines RELY on the material contained in the forged memos for questions, and to support the assertion "Bush Lied."
What a bunch of dangerous, craven humans.

I want to make clear to you if I have not made clear to you, that this story is true, and that more important questions than how we got the story, which is where those who don't like the story like to put the emphasis, the more important question is what are the answers to the questions raised in the story, which I just gave you earlier. If the source documents are forged, how can anyone vouch for the story being true? This is nonsense. If the information is incorrect, why would anyone address the questions raised?

Dan Rather is overdue for another of his famous public temper tantrums... only this time with George W Bush...
Rather's shows have lost so many viewers his 'career' is over...he will do anything...
tell any lie....just to keep his yammering face in front of the cameras...
Rather is just another 'propaganda' whore in an ocean of propanda whores...only he is a ancient dinosaur... sans 'teeth'..
Time for ole 'Dyno Danny' to just fall into the tar pit of obsolescent anonymity....and will you just get it over with already.......for cryin' out loud...
imo

Someone please give Dan the number to the NY State Department of Labor, Unemployment Services. He is going to need it very soon. Perhaps we are overlooking the very real possibility that Rather and other Democrats intentionally committed a crime. Wouldn't it be ironic if he went to prison like G. Gordon Liddy, Charles Colson, and others did over Watergate ?
To: GOP_1900AD
Did you say Weasel Clark?
To: Pfesser
I know that this story is true. I believe that the witnesses and the documents are authentic. Dan sounded extremely sincere when he said this, so those docs must be genuine. I therefore propose an alternate hypothesis to how they were produced.
Maybe this Col. Killian had extraordinarily neat penmanship. Maybe Bill Gates stole it and made a computer font out of it. Maybe Microsoft owes the Killian family millions in royalties.

The source here...is key to the whole story. If its not the family...then the whole story starts to unfold, and you have to wonder what naive idiot on 60 Minutes bought into this entire forged document? My guess...its a major player on 60 Minutes...whose career is about to flame out. And Dan? He is supposed to retire soon...so maybe he has nothing to lose in supporting the lie.

Kewl........Spin has arrived !
Albeit Dan is taking a stand on quicksand IMO.
Stay safe !
