There were 3 people very close to Killian - his wife, his son, and his former secretary. All 3 of them said the documents were fake.
Hodges has now said that CBS told him the documents "were handwritten". Now he says Killian didn't type - wife and son say that also.
I know thats right..
People are concentrating on those documents...because they are forgeries, fake, and a slap in the face of a free and thinking people. Those forgeries lay the foundation for the more relevent parts of the story that Rather refers to in his CYA presntation and establish the whole thing as nothing but a sham and cheap political hack job.
If Rather thinks so little of the people of this country whom he tries to speak to...and it is clear that he believes we are idiots...then he had best be prepared for a continued fight until the truth of this obviious sham is made known from the rooftops and until his credentials and career are laid low in the mud from whence they have sprung.
Yeah, along with the superscripted TH too. Guess we can all write Dan Rather like this now. ;-)
I didn't hear a whole lot about this on Rush's show yesterday, during the time I had to listen, but Hannity was all over it. Looks to me like SeeBS is all alone in this -- not even CNN will go out on this limb.

I then explained why I was preparing a letter - that I was upset that CBS news would publish information from what will be shown to be a forgery, with the objecting of affecting a presidential election. This is not in the public interest.
He said "You are not the only one who feels that way." I Guess they have been getting phone calls. But, each broadcast affiliate is its own business, and does not want to lose its license over programming it buys from CBS. These broadcast affiliates are much more effective at applying pressure to CBS than we can be, as individuals. If thousands of us file letters for the relicensing file, the broadcast affiliates will be screaming at CBS.
Call, ask about how to file the relicensing letter, then prepare and file one. They have to take it.
Rush was all over it for at least the entire first hour.
Call your local CBS affiliate and ask them how one goes about filing a letter in their relicensing file. Broadcasting "Facts" from forged documents, with the objective of affecting a presidential election, is AGAINST the public interest. Get your local broadcast affiliate onboard to scream at CBS news. Your local affiliate has a broadcast license at risk, and can therefore become highly motivated.
We should have expected something like this from Dan Rather and See BS. Rather HATES Bush and the Bush family! What Dan Rather doesn't realize is that even HE isn't to big to bring down. Will these forged documents bring him and/or See BS down? Time will tell.
As I recall, Rather Biased used to ask Nixon about "stonewalling." It looks like thing may have come full circle. Now it is the Democrat Rather who is "stonewalling"!
Rather Biased should call on the "most respected man in America" and have "Uncle Walter" vouch for the accuracy of the "documents."
I wouldn't be surprised if See BS did just that! After all, who WOULDN'T believe Uncle Walty?
