Someone please show me how to post in a specific section of the forum. I'd like to post to Texans. Maybe this will get there... If so, disregard.
Thanks!
May I help you?
Everyone here is a "Texan"
When you get the info let me know. I can read everyone else's posts there but can't find how to post my own.
Everybody should join the freeper locale for their state.
Well, I've been called a lot of things, but 'Texan' isn't one of them.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/browse
Top right hand corner, click on 'more...'
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/my/
Click on 'my local'
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/profiles
At the top, click on 'set my location'
Top left hand side, under 'location' select the state you want to join, then scroll down and hit OK.
Your state flag will be flying at the top left corner, click on the flag and you're there.
You can also access this from your profile page.
On the first page, click on "More", click on "My Locale" then on your state. There is a box at the top of your state's messages that you can use to post.
Just put tx in "topics".
It gets better.
One day in the future if we are all real well behaved, they might put the freeper listings by state back on the locale page...maybe.
I miss it, it was an easy way to ping locals and organize.
Michigan? That up in our panhandle? :')
Ping
Get on FR Finest and ask Meek to put you on his ping list.
Ok. Is that Texas section the same as the "discussions pertaining to Texas", or are those two different things?
Can you give me a link that explains how FR is set up? How it's divided into different sections, topics, etc? I clicked on "help" but it didn't offer much information. I searched using the word "help" and that didn't help me at all (returned irrelevent threads).
Michigan, the gateway to Wisconsin!
Well, first of all there's this bunch of Beebers who work secretly at night when the rest of us are getting our beauty rest....
ping list ping.
C'mon, I'm series!
...been a lurker for a while :-)
