Senator Kerry, as your tour over "Flyover Country" is now spinning out of control, it must be really hard on your stomachs. You and the missus are used to the finest cuisine and now have to look like you are eating like the locals. All the little people are so impressed! I know you must have been embarassed by the revelation that you ate on the bus at stop and threw the local food in the garbage. We all saw that you really didn't eat at Wendy's. I mean, everyone thought you were eating at Wendy's, but then you had some take out at a more "substantial" place for some decent food. I know that a wealthy "Uber" class person such as yourself wants to really eat the way you are used to. So, as a service to your campaign, I am doing a little research on your next pitstop on the way to the White House.
After extensive research, it seems that the best restaurant at your next stop in Detroit seems to be a place called Giovanni's Ristorante. It has a 4 star review it should make for a decent meal after pretending to eat at that dumpy Detroit soul food restaurant. Look, you have to take a bite at Wendy's or at Philly cheese steak stand, but then you have to really eat.
Here is the address:
Giovanni's Ristorante
330 South Oakwood
Detroit, Michigan 48217-1453
ph: 313.841.0122
Your palates shouldn't suffer while you are out on the stump to gain the office you so richly deserve. -And if it costs a little more so what, the campaign is paying for it anyway.
Just trying to help.
The fact that he is campaigning so hard in Detroit is an abysmal sign for the indecisive one.
Good point...
Kerry and his little drummer boy are toast!!!
Does anyonne know if he actually ate the "soul food"?
He ate it before he threw it up.
come Nov 3rd he and his party are going to be eating a lot of CROW.
I hope this place doesn't have a lot of choices on the menu...remember a week ago when Kerry went to that restaurant in Canonsburg, PA, where he talked about "confused people like me who can't make up our minds" (about what to eat). (FR thread #1209537)
After 29 years, Detroit diners still "flip" over friendly Filippa's fresh fare.
I believe this might be just the place.
This would never fly for Kerry, but I always have a couple Coney Island hot dogs when I'm in Detroit. Oh, and a Vernor's to wash 'em down. Yum.
