The 76 year old secretary said the memo's were in "army" forms rather than TANG. Just more confirmation for your post.

I wonder if this Abilene Kinko's has an IBM Selectric or Composer in the back. Or maybe it has a printing press.

jessica simpson is from Abilene. She seems like she might have an axe to grind.

You put "rumor" in as a keyword. When I first saw it I read "humor". That seemed plausible for a story that reads "... forged documents from a Kinko's outlet in Abilene, Texas." You really can't make this stuff up.

Burkett is from near Abilene. Dan's wheels are coming off.

What a coincidence. Bill Burkett lives near Abilene. Surely he's not the "unimpeachable source".""

Where does Dan Rather's Daughter, Robin live?

Can an Abilene Freeper get to the Kinkos in question and look for the document in My Documents folder or in Recycle bin? As sloppy as the forgerer has been, it is possible it is there.

I can't believe CBS is willing to take the fall to protect their source, if it's this wacko. He's got such baggage, that it would be easy to just say, "He fooled us with forgeries, etc."

Why wouldn't they just admit they were fooled if this guy is their "unimpeachable source." They'd have nothing to lose.

I still believe they're protecting somebody higher up in the Dem. party.

Jeez, they could have saved a penny a copy at Office Depot, not to mention it only costs $1.79 (long distance) to fax the first copy with all subsequent copies for $1.00.

I guess money was no object! :0)
