Pray for me and my family. My son has cancer, and I believe I am going to be laid off very soon.
Prayers for you and your son and all who are close to you both.
My heart goes out to you..May God be with you. May you be strengthened and comforted and may your son be made well again.

BUT! I know so many people who have conquored the same advercity I don't care!

What kind of cancer? (me: beach bum 10 years out from melanoma. wife: 1 month from cervical - there is lots of help / volunteers out there, and lots of new cancer treatments)
Look at the bright side. You have a job, and your son is alive.
Any cancer patient will tell you that attitude will win the day. If you go into a battle thinking that you'll lose - you've already lost.
Keep up the chin.
Raise the flag.
Now.... drink. (glass had water in it, didn't it?)
Oh yeah.... and prayers on the way.

I don't know why God choses to allow some, usually good folks, to have to walk down such a rough road. Especially when I see "the wicked" often left unmolested. However, I rest assured of one thing about what God does or allows - He does all things well and He has a purpose that we often cannot see, and may never see in this life.

What kind of cancer does your son have? Maybe some freepers know where to beat it. It happens.
