From early to mid-2004 here is how is military bio was shown on his campaign site until changed when his 'true' bio came to light:
"John Kerry is a Decorated Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War: Kerry volunteered for the United States Navy after college and served from 1966 through 1970 rising to the rank of Lieutenant, Jr Grade. Afterwards, Kerry continued his military service in the United States Naval Reserves from 1972 though 1978."
Note the two-year gap from 1970-72, and one is to believe he joined the regular Navy (USN) then went into the reserves. Navy records show, as many know, enlisted in the Navy Reserve (Inactive) prior to his USNR commission and was USNR throughout.
Wasn't it Kerry attributing the reserves and guard to 'cowards?' Nevermind he was denied a fifth student deferment before joining the branch with the 'safest' odds for those facing the draft.
Check out his 'airbrushed' military history now going no later than 1969.....
We really need to figure out what his status was from 1970-72. I think this is the most important thing we should be asking ourselves right now.

In response to a request by Senator Kerry, the Department of the Navy released a letter detailing the missing period. In a letter dated , 1986, the Navy listed the following:
18 Feb 1966: Enlisted as an OCSA (E-2), USNR (inactive)
19 Aug 1966: Commenced Active Duty as an OCIU2 (E-5)
15 Dec 1966: Honorably Discharged as an OCIU2 to accept commission in United States Naval Reserve
16 Dec 1966: Accepted Commission, Ensign, United States Navy Reserve, continued active duty
16 Jun 1968: Date of Rank as Lieutenant (Junior Grade) (0-2), States Naval Reserve
THE 1970-72 SPAN YOU ASK ABOUT:
1 Jan 1970: Date of Rank as Lieutenant (0-3), United States Naval Reserve
3 Jan 1970: Released from Active Duty, transferred to the Naval Reserve (inactive)

Obvious reason Kerry leaves out on bio....the anti-war/
American activities while still connected to the Navy.

I love the above quote on Kerry's bio page. They make it out like he had no choice but to go home after receiving his 3rd purple heart. The deception is staggering.

There we have 60 eye-witnesses to Kerry's military service, but apparently Rather didn't think that is sufficient.
At the same time Rather deemed a proven liar (Burkett) and forged documents sufficient to impune President Bush's military record and in addition, he also deliberately ignored all those who could and did refute the allegations raised in 60 minutes.
Kerry's website, "service timeline," bio, and life are all a product of being Kerry's. They're bull just like that traitorous fraud. Who would have believed that we'd so soon have someone to compete with Clinton for being most vile. Even Kerry's website lies:
"Lt. Kerry directed his gunners to provide suppressing fire, while from an exposed position on the bow, his arm bleeding and in pain, with disregard for his personal safety, he pulled the man aboard."
Everybody knows that even the vaunted "official navy records" show Kerry's arm was merely bruised (which doesn't get him a purple heart under any circumstance), NOT bleeding.
But the same MSM that puts phony documents slandering a sitting President on the air (and stands by them after they've been proved a forgery, so they can continue to cover for their sources) clings to the notion that Navy fantasies originally spun by Kerry must be true because the records say so, even when the records say mutually-exclusive things. Kerry's arm bled; Kerry's arm didn't bleed.
I heard that Dan Rather is looking to break a story. Maybe he can be the one to go on the MSM airwaves with a hard-hitting investigative report on how the Kerry citation is at odds with the official medical report.
Can ANY fair observer conclude that Rather and CBS are NOT complicit in a scam to try to bring down a President?

It appears that kerry was AWOL???? By the way, Kerry didn't post a 'honorable discharge', so when was he discharged, and was he honorable discharged???
The reason that Kerry has a twelve year record (1966 through 1978), including 8 years in the reserves after he testified against the military and called them murders and war criminals, is because he was court-martialed, then re-applied for his commission and discharge after Jimmy Carter's amnesty. It is the only thing that makes sense and explains why Kerry is fighting (horse) tooth and nail to not release his records. It also explains the medal documentation from John Lehman (he was probably stripped of his Silver Star, then applied to get it back while Reagan was President). If we could find a way to verify this, it would be the scoop that sinks him for good.
What we REALLY need to do is get to Nov 3rd. Kerry is so boring to talk about over and over, it's getting real old.
He was not granted an Honorable Discharge until March 2001, almost 30 years after his ostensible service term had ended! This is very much out of the ordinary, and highly suspect.
There are 5 classes of Discharge: Honorable, General, Other Than Honorable, Bad Conduct, and Dishonorable. My guess is that he was discharged in the '70s, but not Honorably.
He appealed this sometime while Clinton was doing trouser-tricks in the Oval Office. Political pressure was applied, and the Honorable Discharge was then granted.
His file is probably rife with reports of this, submissions and hearings on the appeal, reports of his "giving aid and comfort" to the enemy, along with protests that were filed with respect to his alleged valor under fire.
This will blow up in his face before October 15th. ==============================================
On 18 Feb. 1966 John Kerry signed a 6 year enlistment contract with the Navy (plus a 6-month extension during wartime).
On 18 Feb. 1966 John Kerry also signed an Officer Candidate contract for 6 years -- 5 years of ACTIVE duty & ACTIVE Naval Reserves, and 1 year of inactive standby reserves (See items #4 & $5).
Because John Kerry was discharged from TOTAL ACTIVE DUTY of only 3 years and 18 days on 3 Jan. 1970, he was then required to attend 48 drills per year, and not more than 17 days active duty for training. Kerry was also subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Additionally, Kerry, as a commissioned officer, was prohibited from making adverse statements against his chain of command or statements against his country, especially during time of war. It is also interesting to note that Kerry did not obtain an honorable discharge until March 12, 2001 even though his service obligation should have ended July 1, 1972.
Lt. John Kerry's letter of 21 Nov. 1969 asking for an early release from active US Navy duty falsely states "My current regular period of obligated service would be completed in December of this year."
On Jan. 3, 1970 Lt. John Kerry was transferred to the Naval Reserve Manpower Center in Bainbridge, Maryland. Where are Kerry's Performance Records for 2 years of obligated Ready Reserve, the 48 drills per year required and his 17 days of active duty per year training while Kerry was in the Ready Reserves? Have these records been released?
Has anyone ever talked to Kerry's Commanding Officer at the Naval Reserve Center where Kerry drilled?
On 1 July 1972 Lt. John Kerry was transferred to Standby Reserve - Inactive. On 16 February 1978 Lt. John Kerry was discharged from US Naval Reserve.
Below are some of the crimes Lt. Kerry USNR committed as a Ready Reservist, while he was acting as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War:
1. Lt. Kerry attended many rallies where the Vietcong flag was displayed while our flag was desecrated, defiled, and mocked, thereby giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
2. Lt. Kerry was involved in a meeting that voted on assassinating members of the US Senate.
3. Lt. Kerry lied under oath against fellow soldiers before the US Senate about crimes committed in Vietnam.
4. Lt. Kerry professed to being a war criminal on national television, and condemned the military and the USA.
5. Lt. Kerry met with NVA and Vietcong communist leaders in Paris, in direct violation of the UCMJ and the U.S. Constitution.
Lt. Kerry by his own words & actions violated the UCMJ and the U.S. Code while serving as a Navy officer. Lt. Kerry stands in violation of Article 3, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution. Lt. Kerry's 1970 meeting with NVA Communists in Paris is in direct violation of the UCMJ's Article 104 part 904, and U.S. Code 18 U.S.C. 953. That meeting, and Kerry's subsequent support of the communists while leading mass protests against our military in the year that followed, also place him in direct violation of our Constitution's Article 3, Section 3, which defines treason as "giving aid and comfort" to the enemy in time of warfare.
The Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3, states, "No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President ... having previously taken an oath to support the Constitution of the United States, [who has] engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."

Kerry joined the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), a national veterans group that was part of the Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice. (The PCPJ was a broad coalition of local and national organizations, including the Communist Party, USA, “committed to conducting demonstrations aimed at ending the war in Indochina, and poverty, racism and injustice at home.” The VVAW, CCI and PCPJ all had headquarters at 156 Fifth Avenue in New York City. VVAW Executive Secretary Al Hubbard (a former Black Panther) was also on the coordinating committee of the PCPJ. Hubbard soon appointed Kerry to the VVAW’s Executive Committee, bypassing the normal election process.
