Bless you my fellow FReeper!

If you didn't live through it, almost everything you have learned about the Vietnam War, you have learned from liberal Hollywood-Democrat-Journalist filters. What that coward and traitor and fraud John Kerry has unwittingly done is to give us a chance to set the record straight.
Speak up. Speak loud, proud and often.

I agree with what you said....I lived through it - not as a military member but as an AF brat who saw friends go over there.....I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my cheek because my father and brother did come back....and because everytime I see the idiot from Mass. speaking to the senate in 1971 I cry all over....if this traitor becomes president and CINC, I don't think I'll be able to stand it. I'm just hopeful that Americans are seeing through this jackass and his pretty boy vp candidate and will NEVER elect him! I know this is a rant but that's how I feel...

This lady was one of the speakers at the "Kerry LIED... while good men died" rally I attended September 12th in Washington, DC. Her words touched everyone there.

Powerful stuff. Thanks for the ping.

As far as his candidacy goes, Kerry is dead, he just hasn't fallen over yet.

I am with you. In the name of my brother, my husband, several high school friends who never came back, I am with you!

Kerry is so pathetic. He doesn't know how to salute any better than Clinton! What a dork.

and if the president makes a personal appeal to us to stop, we cannot and will not do so, because there are some things that can never be forgiven, can never be forgotten. John Kerry is one of those things.

This is what they don't understand. Having never experienced the pain themselves, they can't even imagine what it was like. And there is no way to explain it to them. To lose a loved one is always hard, but to have their honor impuned, to not be able to discuss them, to listen to them being vilified by a bunch of degenerates, that you can't imagine. No matter how hard someone tries to explain it, it can not be understood.

Amid a crowd of cheering veterans in DC, she brought a tear to my eye with those words. Reading them now, in the privacy of my room, the tears are flowing. Sergeant Gell must be looking down at his little girl with a great deal of pride in the exquisite woman she has become.

Another take on this story......

Kerry and the Dems have been calling Bush (and Cheney too actually) a draft-dodger, liar, coward and slacker and every name in the book because he was in the National Guard and didn't go to Vietnam.

Well guess what, folks......... a LOT of men didn't go to Vietnam. My dad didn't go to Vietnam, is he a draft dodger and coward, too, Senator Kerry?

The millions of Vietnam age men (voters) probably don't like to be called draft dodgers and smeared.

Their wives (voters) and kids (voters) probably don't like it either.

I'm starting to hate John Kerry.

Then you're lagging behind the rest of us. Hurry and catch up!

This isn't about politics. It's about honor and betrayal and protecting our country. And for me it is deeply personal, as it is for countless vets. Thirty-nine years later, my mother still cries on Nov 14. Thirty-nine years later, we miss my father every day. Thirty-nine years later, Kerry poses as a hero.

Gosh, I'm crying too.

Powerful... I sent it to everyone on my list. And for anyone who likes to read, I highly recommend "We Were Soldiers Once; and Young." The Ia Drang battle; the Valley of Death; speaks volumes to American bravery and heroism is the face of overwhelming odds.

Think about it... John Kerry tossed a grenade into a rice bin in a secured area and he got his ass peppered with flying rice because he couldn't get away from the explosion fast enough. What would he have ever done in the Ia Drang?

John Kerry is simply, and totally UNFIT FOR ANYTHING... and that includes pet care...

He smeared my dad too, bump! Told my Dad I'd vote for him instead of Kerry, since he served in Veitnam and he's not Bush got a big hug! Followed with we already got a PRESIDENT!
