4:30PM EDT; Monday Sept. 20: The Weather Channel made a point to show via radar that ex-Hurricane Ivan is back in Florida. They said in a 4:30 PM broadcast, that the storm still has visible counter clockwise circulation and stratles the southern most part of Florida entering from the southern east coast with rain.

Can you believe this? Does this count as strike number 4?

Well it isn't a tropical system anymore. Just an area of low pressure. Of course it could easily redevelop if it moves back over water.

This is pretty good because the weather people said the storm will do a U Turn and come back !

We're getting some rain, heavy surf and wind on the Central Florida coast.

I saw Joe Bastardi of Accu Weather on Fox News last week predicting that the storm would exit the coast at the VA Capes, which it did and then cross FL back into the Gulf of Mexico, which it seems to be doing and that it would then reform and possibly threaten Texas or LA. This damn thing just won't die.
Since it's now extra-tropical, if it does reform, would it still be Ivan or would it get a new name?

I live in Citrus Co. about 70 miles north of St. Pete's. Ivan missed us the first time (no rain) but now that its coming back we finally got some rain.

As a Floridian, I have to say the term "pretty good" is very, very relative...
We've had it with this crap...
