Thought a thread in Breaking News for the weekend covering Hurricane Jeanne would be a good thing. Post your link, pics, updates and freeper check-in's here

Hi Ms Alabama (well, two of you)
I am not currently in the sunshine (?) state. I did live in Clearwater, Boca Raton & Mayport area in the years between 1969-76.
I have lots of family/friends there & an interest.. would love to perhaps be near the panhandle or Jax area again.
I am in NE Ohio for now helping out mom..
After a month, they just disappear. Gone. Byebye. Then you have to pay.
Once again, not worth a whole post. The important stuff: Repeating the 7 PM EDT position...27.1 N... 79.1 W. Movement toward...west to west-northwest near 14 mph. Maximum sustained winds...115 mph. Minimum central pressure... 950 mb.
950 mb! That means the pressure has dropped 10+ mb in the last 24 hours. This is a very strong storm, and it is intensifying. Category 4 at landfall looks probable now.
I use earthlink cable. when I first went online in 1995/6, I had prodigy, used them til 1998. Most of the time it was free. I was month to month, and everytime I went to cancel, they would give me a free month. I don't know if they went bankrupt, but I dont see how they survived with that. Maybe I'm so likeable, they just wanted to give me a free month :)
I just realized this is YOUR THREAD.. way to go.. it is fascinating. so many good minds contributing & a few like me who just shuffle along trying to figure all this out.
to all in harms way.. good luck - God bless
Ch 9 says tornado in Brevard
Not mine! I was just the person who typed it out!
Stay safe
I have three close friends in Ft. Pierce...2 are RABID Republicans and 1 thinks all politicians are jerks. I talked to him last week and asked for his assessment of Jeb and GWB. QUOTE:
"Any time you have 3 major hurricanes in such a short time span, things are going to be a mess. Jeb is doing better than could be expected in the circumstances. I'll tell you one thing...if I have to live through this, I want to be in a state where the Governor is the President's brother. They both looked like Compassionate Conservatives to us, but they also whipped relief efforts into shape, the mark of good businessmen. Both have good organizational skills."
This is high praise from a crusty curmudgeon.
A radar indicated tornado over Kennedy Space Center moving SW at 50 MPH???
Thanks, I think, for the links - best I've see...but gotta go now and call my kids! My 2 youngest sons and their families are in the Cape Canaveral area - they fled from Francess, but simply couldn't this time - and I see from your post that the outter rim is now upon them ...
