Everybody's been asking for the after action report!
Here is the old thread in which I announced the event.
Dr. Tom Coburn and myself.
Here is the table I sat at. 70 people came on a bus from Texas, and we sat with them.
This picture is of Mr. Vice President Cheney while he spoke.
Carrie and Dan talking.
We got there around 3 o clock. Went through security around 4. Once you got through security you sat in the lobby until they opened up the reception area.
In the lobby there were big glass doors and we watched the protestors until about 5. They kept us entertained. One had a sign that said "Coburn does not apply." We still don't know what it meant.
Mayor Bill Lafortune spoke and introduced Dr. Coburn's pastor. He gave the blessing, and then introduced Dr. Coburn's daughter who sang the national anthem.
Don Nickles, Jim Inhofe, Lynn Cheney, and Mr. Cheney all spoke. And Dr. Coburn spoke last. We were served chicken, steak, mashed potatoes, rolls, cheesecake, and salad.
I went up and had my picture taken with the good doctor as the event was winding down.
I talked to Dr. Coburn's campaign manager. New ads will be out SOON! Carson is toast ladies and gentleman!!!!
Was it you that wanted to be pinged to this???
Ping!
BTTT!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Coburn was very generous.
Students got in for 50 bucks, rather than 500 for regular folks!
Great stuff anf your website is perfect ~ Thanks!
Thanks!!!
Have you ever been to Mangum,OK ~ it was named after my great grandfather; R.Y. Mangum. :)
Mangum, down in SW Oklahoma?
I've never been there ~ it sounds about right because my grandfather took the family from OK to West Texas and started raising cattle on 11 sections of land in the late (1880+) 1800's. :)
I checked the genealogy and it says it was named after A.S. Mangum ~ weird. :)

Thanks for the bump. Thune is still leading in SD, so this now remains, for me, the key Senate race. I lived in Oklahoma for 13 years, and want the best for the state -- and that is Dr. Coburn. The rest of us non-Okies will also greatly benefit from his presence in Washington.
Thanks for the ping!
bump
Thanks to you both!
I'll let em know!!!
