The Kerry campaign said Sunday it erred when answering a questionnaire for Outdoor Life magazine and said that the Massachusetts senator counts a "Communist Chinese assault rifle" as a favorite gun.

The gun is actually an inoperable single bolt rifle, not an assault weapon, said spokesman David Wade. "The Kerry campaign should have described it as an old military rifle," he said.

So...Kerry's favorite gun is an inoperable one?

I don't believe him either way. As I mentioned above, he could have an illegal Chinese AK and goofed when he mentioned it, and his staff is covering for him.

Or, he did have the inoperable bolt action and he lied when he said it was a war trophy assault rifle.

Either way, he is a serial liar worse than Clinton (with Clinton sometimes it took a month to find out he lied, he was that good at it).

Worse, or just plain arrogant. Note that Clinton was arrogant and found he could get away with the lies. Now, it's even worse--the MSM don't even investigate even known problems with his record (military, Senate, etc.)
