The real good news in the new Gallup poll is the big movement of Blacks to Bush and away from Kerry.

I was also surprised to see Don King campaigning for Bush.

Not to mention, Blacks aren't going to be excited to go to the polls and vote for Kerry, a person they can't relate to and really don't care for.

"John Kerry is just not inspiring to the black electorate."

Nope, not at all. What's shocking is that there are Dems who are surprised that they aren't inspired by a moneyed, haughty, northeastern liberal.

Bill Clinton? Sure, but John Kerry?

Of course, if Kerry had, I don't know, at least ONE black senior advisor, that might help, too.

Isn't his nutty wife and African-American?

I think she's a Judeo-Anglican African-American Irish-Setter. Finally, a first lady we can all relate to!

Hey!

James Carville comes from Louisiana and has met many black people in his life. Isn't that good enough for you Republican bloodsuckers?

If he's not doing that, then a lot of potential fraud might not occur, since the real places of concern are the inner city districts.

Since Kerry has no Blacks in any prominent campaign positions, and he has got 10X the bank of G.W., the Black community isn't too excited.
Wasn't Donna Brazile (sp.) Gore's campaign chief?

I don't understand this.  It was noted in the press that Jennifer Aniston (the epitome of street cred) was wearing one of these t-shirts at a public event the other day.

Isn't non-white also Asian and Latino? So 30% of that vote doesn't mean 30% black..unless I am missing something.

You are correct. I've seen numbers previously on non-white total in 2000, but I can't find it. 30% is still excellent performance (relatively).

"Blacks do not like girlie-men."

You make a good point, but I am always puzzled that they turned out so well for algore since he was every bit as effeminate as Kerry is.
