I can't trust The Sheep to make any decision without the help and prompting of their favorite Hollywood stars. I myself will never again vote Democrat. But The Sheep always will.

This will not be a GOP landslide. This will be Y2K Redux: not just on a single battleground state, but nationwide and on a new level of violence.

I fear, but I tend to agree with you. I know it's somewhat negative, but we have to be realistic. There is a lot of hate against Republicans and conservatives. It's concentratd - cities and suburbs - but it's here.

I'm sure that's how we'd like it to come out, and I hope you're right. But Kerry will be good in this format -- much better than he's been on the stump.

Note that attacks here in the US would probably work in Bush's favor, not against him. If the terrorists have any brains, they'll know that. Evidence on whether they have any brains is mixed.

It worked for them in Spain. However, you're correct - Americans are not Spaniards.

You misspelled "Roar" and the typos in your articles are monumental. (Ever hear of an editor?) Second, your friend's overconfidence is as stupid as it is misplaced. How careless and arrogant with so much at stake.

Third, I don't know what your posted articles are supposed to accomplish for this board since all they seem to consist of is BLOWING YOUR OWN HORN but since you've gotten to be a promotional tool for yourself you've lost the message and, imo, lost the war. Listen to Flaubert "An author, like God in the universe, should be apparent to everyone, visible to none."

Take me off your freaking ping list: your self serving blog is a waste of my time.

Now is the time to work harder and POUR IT ON!

We just might tip the scales in a few undecided Congressional or Senate races.

How about it Alaska? Colorado? Florida? S. Dakota?

I forgot where I read it, but recently I saw a comment either from someone in the Bush campaign or someone close to it regarding the attitude in the campaign, "They're working as if they are five points behind, not ahead."

That's excellent news, in more ways than one. Logic dicatates (somewhat) that the larger Bush's lead becomes, the longer his coattails become. I know that's not always the case, but it seems to apply here because the party in general and the downticket candidates in particular are so closely identified with and supportive of the president that good will for G Dub should "trickle down" somewhat.

What can their panicked Dem opponents do? Pull a Daschle and embrace the president? That's a sign of desperation and one not likely to convince many voters (i.e, why vote for a Dem who likes the president when it's expedient when you can vote for the Republican who supports him nearly always?)

A Bush ample victory (or, dare I say, even a landslide) will give George W. Bush the greatest mandate for governance for a GOP president since, what, the Civil War? Majorities will increase in both houses of Congress, and no longer will the Dems talk about "stolen" elections and a"mandate-less" presidency.

A clear Bush mandate places immense pressure on the Dems to be less confrontational in the 2005-2006 Congressional period else they face retribution at the polls in 2006.

Perhaps I'm being too optimistic, but any way you slice it a sizable Bush win should make his next four years easier, comparatively speaking, than his first four when it comes to getting things done.

BIG things.

Another happy camper heard from. Perhaps Flaubert would feel differently if he was competing w/ thousands of other writers to get noticed. Nobody is going to make people visit our site if they don't like what they read, and readership is skyrocketing.

You're off the ping list. But "you don't have to get snippy about it".

Exactly... Given the dem talent for committing voter fraud, along with the MSM's willing participation in a coverup of said fraud, this election is nowhere near "in the bag" for President Bush.

I won't believe that we've actually won until the innauguration!

Mark

For a senior Pubbie consultant to make such a comment in public and in writing is irresponsible.

Agreed. Encouraging this sort of thinking is dangerous. Extremely dangerous.
