I probably won't get to hear this because in Boston Hannity is tape-delayed till 10 pm, and I'm pretty sure
WTKK will go to post-debate live talk rather than run
Hannity.

As I've said before, a test for your liberal friends: Ask
them to defend why they're voting for Kerry, but tell them they can't mention Bush in their argument. No "Bush is
evil, he and Cheney are in it for the oil money". No,
just have them rattle off the great accomplishments of
Kerry in the Senate, his positions on issues (it's like
New England weather: if you don't like it, just wait
a minute)

Dare them to tell you why they're FOR Kerry. They'll only
prove they're AGAINST Bush and can't really tell you any good thing Kerry is FOR.

Hannity does this almost daily on his show. It's amazing how many college types are clueless when it comes to understanding the issues or even knowing who the candidates are!!!

I think his referral to Mr. Stew-pid is getting old and a bit childish and Hannity should drop it, (he asks College kids if they know who Kerry's running mate is. Invariably they say they don't know. Hannity then replies that it's Mr. Stew-pid. And then most reply that they didn't know that. Few if any say, "Wait a minute, it's John Edwards there is no Mr. Stew-pid." Jay Leno has done the same thing for years.)

The young man's most revealing reply, however was "it's what I've been taught".

I have no doubt he was referring to the "education" he has received in our public school system.

Hannity is exactly what I don't need...ya, he was cute at first, but once you realize you have more information, debating skills, and conceptual understanding of issues than the person you're listening to, it's time to move on...he jumped the shark a while back...and I don't find his "yer a great american" crap and whiny screwed up half-eastern dialect to be the most endearing.

I'm not surprised. I was once one of these college types myself. It was the point in my life I was just beginning to become aware of the world of politics. It was the beginning of adulthood and reality. I can give a young college brain full of mush a break and try to educate them. It is those that hold liberal views later in life that are worrisome.

gimme Hugh Hewitt or Medved or Mike Rosen (www.850koa.com)...those people have brains, wit, and a clue...all Hannity has is passion, and even that becomes suspect after a while...and did I mention my DVD???

I heard it. That yutz isn't going to vote for Bush, he's too much of a liberal pansy. If Sean would have handled it better, he probably could have got Libbie McLib to waste a vote on Nader.

I guess one reason that I like him is that he keeps it kind of light. We can get way too serious and it keeps one so uptight that having a little fun with politics can make us look like the Kerry-ites. 24-7 doom and gloom.

Frankly I thought it was pretty darn cruel. Shaming someone into changing their vote is an ineffective tactic typically employed by the left, and it was sad to see Hannity try it.

if you don't get Hugh Hewitt, try his website. He's a law professor from California who worked in Reagan Justice, for Nixon after that. Has monthly Shakespeare with David Allen White of Naval Academy, and is big on blogs...informative and funny...and capable debater without taking things too seriously

So ineffectual that it worked for Sean?

"All kidding aside, he sure did pile up a huge liberal voting record, the most liberal of the Senate and even more to the left than the Senior Senator from the Bay State."

Yes, he voted. . .but he never introduced a bill; a determined follower; but never a leader.

I made a mistake . It was North Ga. State Fair. Sounded like a campus auditorium.

I wish I could get more commentaries--we only have 2 talk stations out here in the W. Tx. boonies and I feel lucky to get Hannity, Rush, and Tony Snow!

He wasn't ripping the guy at all and the guy was a VERY good sport.

In the end Sean made some important points to the young man and I believe he will reconsider his vote for Kerry.
