Those of you that are praying types, please join me in praying for President Bush as he goes into this important debate:
"Holy God, I confess my own sinfulness and thank you that you still bid me to boldly come before your throne of grace. In this debate tonight, if it be your will, please grant President Bush godly wisdom to deal with his adversary and to win the hearts of the people of this country. Give him grace in the eyes and ears of his audience, and grant him four more years of service to us and more importantly to you. I also ask that you confound and confuse his adversary, make him to appear foolish and ungodly, if this is so and your will. Do not grant him grace in the eyes and ears of the audience, and please remove him and his type from holding office of influence in this country.
God please bless this undeserving country, and grant us to sense to always turn to you.

My prayers are with our President, George W. Bush! May the Holy Spirit provide the right words at the right time!
I've been praying about this for WEEKS. I always pray that the Lord will fill my mouth with the right words when things are difficult and frightening--when testifying in court, for instance--and that works like a charm. So that is what I'm doing for the president. He has a talent almost as great as my own for putting his foot in his mouth and needs the Lord's help to let him reach the hearts of undecided voters.

Ever since the 2000 recount fiasco, I've felt that there has been a work of the Spirit to "expose evil."
I've seen this time and time again, of late in the entire CBS forged document mess where they were caught in their lies.
That again is my prayer tonight, as in the Lord's prayer "deliver us from evil" but beyond that to "expose the evil" that lurks in hearts of those that reject God and His ways.
Prayers for W. But he doesn't need them. He is ready for this and the Lord has already given him the strength to see this country through these difficult times and lead us in the tough things that must be done.. Thank you Lord for that.

Lord, we have been humbled by our sins as a nation, yet we seek Thy face tonight on behalf of Thy servant, George. Give him clarity. Grant him wisdom. Allow him to sense Thy grace and peace. According to Thy will, let me find favor in the eyes of the people of this land, like Joseph found favor in the land of Egypt.
May all the devices of those who promote unrighteousness be brought to nought. May the candidates that promote their wicked agenda be frustrated in their attempts to find favor with the people of this land.
Lord, we know the great privilege of our republican form of government, handed to us by godly men. Yet we also know that Thou art the one who truly raises up rulers and casts them down. What a blessing, O Jehovah, that we might in the end, rest and trust in Thee and Thy goodness. In Jesus' blessed name we pray, Amen.
