HOOYAH!
I think I hit the jackpot.
Last evening I received a phone call which turned out to be a telephone survey asking my opinions on current affairs, the election, domestic and foreign relations.
At the end, the phone caller told me that I was to be a member of a group of people who would be assembled in this city, and several others across the country, for the purpose of holding community discussions on the issues and coming election.
The group doing the organizing, and BROADCAST of this event will be the MacNeil / Leher Group, in cooperation with PBS and a local university.
So, on Saturday, October 16th, at 8:30 AM, Im due to participate in this discussion group, (get breakfast, lunch & PAID for my time) which I understand will be carried nationwide on PBS stations. It may be taped to air later; I dont know yet.
I expect a snakepit, and need to prepare.
What Im requesting from all of you are facts, etc to prepare for the discussion, solid points I can use in rebuttal to common arguments, where I can get a Freeper T-shirt to wear, etc.
Im just trying to do the best I can. This chance seems TOO good to pass by, and I expect the odds to be stacked against President Bush and any conservative positions.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Careful. If they suspect your in any way associated with the Free Republic they'll replace you with a Million Mom Marcher.
First make sure you tell anyone who asks that you are a lifelong DemocRAT but you're not sure how to answer some of the questions you get from your Republican friends. Questions like, "how is that Sen. Spitball....errr, Kerry ...in the first debate can criticize President Bush for spending too much money on Iraq (200 billion dollars so far) and then a few minutes later say he would increase spending on Iraq?" Trying to explain this to your Republican friends makes you feel foolish.
Remember you are a "moderate swing voter who hasn't decided".
Be circumspect, dignified, gently humorous, and unfailingly courteous. The better you keep your temper and the more reasonably you speak, the more you'll make your overemotional opponents look like fools. Remember that the most successful conservative commentators never indulge in vulgarity or become excited: you won't see Charles Krauthammer or Ann Coulter raising their voices.
You have the honor of representing all of us. We're depending on you.
Be sure to get REALLY familiar with the MASSIVE national vote fraud being pushed by the Democrats. There are TONS of documented stories all over the country...
Dems have been engaging in MASSIVE, and WIDESPREAD VOTE FRAUD all across the country. See this article that I wrote with documentation from DOZENS of cases.
They're trying to STEAL the election just like a tin-cup dictatorship...

What is the "Global Test" Sen Kerry feels must be met before the US can committ US Troops to defend US National Security?
UN Resolutions? We have 14 Iraq that Saddam was in violation.
Clear Danger to US Security? In Dec 1998 Sen Kerry sided with President Clinton when he id'ed Iraq as a National Security threat.
Attack US? Taliban in Afganistan had no clear link to the 9-11 attacks on US. SO Kerry would not of invaded Afganistan.
A broad Coalition? What are the 31 Nations with troops on the Ground.
Basically, stripping away all the DNC's spin machine ofuscation, what Kerry's "Global Test" boils down to is Kerry will only act if permission is give US from the French and German goverments.
Yeah right. Coulter screeches quite often.

Ask why Kerry won't sign Form 180 -- what's he hiding?
Perhaps you experts could offer up some suggestions for preparing for television appearances.
