Ms. Spencer estimated that since May, 800 of the roughly 4,000 adult clubs in America have launched voter registration efforts, registering an average of 200 voters per club. Few adult clubs have engaged in voter drives in previous elections.
The registration efforts have taken many forms. Jim Halbach, owner of seven clubs in Wisconsin and Illinois, personally approaches customers as they come through his clubs' doors and asks them to sign voter registration documents.
Mr. Halbach also has special voter drive nights, at which he waives normal door charges. "These nights, the dancers come down off the stage and tell the customers about why it's important for them to register to vote," said Mr. Halbach, who claims to have registered 4,700 people.
At Ms. Spencer's clubs, the D.J. takes breaks from narrating stripteases twice an hour to announce that voter registration is necessary and to tell customers how they can register. Other clubs have sent their dancers out into local communities on door-to-door registration drives.

Why is it that every four years the Dems rely on the scum of the earth to spearhead the get out the vote drives that inevitably produce thousands of fraudulent voter registration documents?

"The New York area has been a target, though less so than swing states like Ohio. Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, on West 51st Street in Manhattan, has handed out voter education information to customers and plans a get-out-the-vote night later in October. New York is one of the states in which voter registration will continue through October; like Texas, about half the states in the nation have registration deadlines this week.
Other parts of the $15 billion adult entertainment industry have followed suit. Several adult film actors have made a DVD, for sale on the Internet, entitled "Porn for Kerry." In the film, which features porn stars, "Jorge Bush" canoodles in a hot tub with the king of an imaginary Middle Eastern oil state. The filmmakers say they will donate the proceeds to Senator John Kerry's campaign.
Vivid Video, which makes adult films, has created a Web site, Vote2K4.net, aimed at getting adult entertainment industry workers to register. The page includes information on voter registration and voter drive organizations like America Coming Together, as well as links to Vivid.com, a site plastered with nude women that promises "100 Percent More Hard-Core Than Ever Before."
Similarly, the Internet Media Protective Association, a trade organization of adult Webmasters, has asked its members to post links to the voter registration organization Rock the Vote on their sites. And sex shops in Austin and other cities have been displaying voter registration information at counters, alongside vibrators and other toys."
Call me bigoted, but I really don't think that a person whose life's ambition is fulfilled on the pole should be the right face for a get out the vote drive. But then again, I guess they aren't relying on her face ....
I'm not going to complain about this. I assume there are just as many republican votes as democrats frequenting these establishments. Maybe the porn vote is on our side.
Maybe the bastards are taking the information and sending out fraudulent absentee ballots to steal the election.
Prediction: There will be more Dem scandals related to voter registration fraud and multiple votes by individuals then ever before in the history of the republic.

Agreed. These people have a right to vote, too. Anyone who complains looks like a Victorian prude, and hurts our cause.
Hey, if we have the better stance on the issues and better involvement, we'll win. If we don't, we deserve to lose.
Me thinks that the "carrot snapper" demographic will be too preoccupied to bother voting!

After all, we all know about those groups of holy rollers who 'examine' porn and provided detailed reports - "on average, the typical porn video exhibits 4 acts of oral sex, 9 acts of vaginal penetration, 1 act of anal penetration, etc. etc. PER hour of video!"
Yep, it's good to know that some otherwise serious and moral people take the effort to devise a 'tale of the tape' for 1000s of hours of porn!
Lucky for them, I'm not the cynical type, or else I might suspect they might be digging the stuff. ;-)
I agree and I don't think there are necessarily any more liberals than conservatives at the average strip club. In fact, the same probably goes for the typical 'exotic dancer' at these clubs.

Back in NYC, at my lawfirm, we had a presentation by a computer foresnics type, and the guy was showing off some new tech, and he said that he was called in to examine some PCs at a company and he found kiddie porn embedded in innocent looking picture files on a guy's PC.
He boasted "And after I found that, me and the CEO at the firm spent a couple of hours looking at the porn files we found on this guy's PC!"
I laughed out loud and the attention in the room turned to me. He was taken aback but my outburst and asked me what was so funny. I said "nothing, but that most of us would have pretty much gotten the idea after two or three minutes, but if you and the CEO took a couple of hours, whatever floats your boat."
The room erupted in laughter and the salesman was angry at me, but hey, you don't lob softballs like that in my neighborhood! Haha!

Of course the porn vote is on our side. Who watches porn? Men, and men vote Republican. If only men voted Republicans would win EVERY election.
