Finally, KABC in Los Angeles is booting out the far left and disgusting Ken Minyard from the morning show. I will be able to listen to KABC again in the morning.
Coming on Oct. 18 is this man ----
The only problem is that, once again, I will be listening to two radios at the same time. I can't give up Laura Ingraham.
Laura is on KRLA 870AM from 6-9 AM.
You wake up with liberals? Shame on you! I jump in my truck between 4:30 and 5AM and tune in to Bill Bennett at 870AM before Laura pops in. She fills my coffee cup faster than Tony will:)

Take your pick! ;)
Well heck, I'll try it tomorrow!
I know the feeling.
We woke up and had breakfast by a radio.
(WCOA in Pensacola to be exact--yes, they're still in existence)
I think it's only a 20KW station. What city do you live in?
Los Angeles.
It's early, it's dark, I'm sleepy ... :)
Thanks for the info, as you can see I was "in the dark" about Laura on 870, I can fit her in right b4 Rush, woo-hoo.
This means KABC is feeling a lot of pressure from KRLA with Bill Bennett-Laura Ingraham until 9AM! Their advertising must be getting ass-slapped red!
Thanks, I'll be listening, I can see Laura has a lot of fans on this thread, I'm one of them too, she's a FOX. I loved the "intervention" she did on Bill O'Rielly, too funny, he needed it.
That's why I go to sleep early.
But I also sneak away early:):)
I heard this a couple weeks ago but can't remember the source. It better be true or I am going to have to have Brokaw and Jennings come and defend me.
Michael Jackson was a liberal *ss who made stupid little jokes that were very annoying.
Yep -- 870 KRLA in L.A. and 590 KTIE in San Bernardino.
Yes, that is true. They kept him on for years even though his audience was practicly nil.
Didn't he get the axe shortly after Clinton got elected the second time? It seemed to me that they kept him on just so the Clinton's would have air-time in L.A. whenever they wanted it.
They got rid of Minyard for awhile and then brought him back.
It's kindof strange that this came now, for me, because I just turned in Minyard last week for about ten minutes. I just wanted to see what was going on.
During that ten minutes there was a give and take regarding Bush. Bush wasn't the sole focus, but he was mentioned, and the cohost said some things that were complimentary to Bush.
Minyard put up with it for a comment or two, and then lashed out with a really insulting demeaning comment. At the time I couldn't help but think what a little person he was.
Glad he's gone. Evidently the powers that be didn't like what they were hearing out of him either.
His co-host is a former Marine or Special Forces. Even with just a little balance (because Minyard did the majority of the talking) I couldn't stand Minyard)
