O"Reilly Wants President Bush to Apologize Friday Night
Me

Posted on 10/07/2004 10:41:05 AM PDT by JonDavid

Bill O'Reilly suggested today on his radio show that President Bush should apologize at the Presidential debate Friday for no Iraq WMD. If the President Bush did this in the way that O'Reilly wants him to, the President would be making a major gaffe. I could see the sound bites. President Bush has NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR. Also, O'Reilly says that Bush has to clearly win Friday or it’s over. He keeps on saying that the race is tied. IMHO, O'Reilly is spinning on several fronts: At the very least he is trying to get Kerry on his show, so he is pandering. The Electoral College Polls shows the President with a sizable lead. National Polls mean little. O'Reilly knows if the President says I am sorry for Iraq it would be political suicide. Again, think of the soundbite the Democrats would have. This would help Kerry. The President on Friday night needs to address Kerry’s record and recent Global Test statements. So why O’Reilly on his radio program the day before the Presidential debates is highlighting the Iraq WMD instead of focusing on Kerry’s record? He is doing this because that’s the only hope Kerry has. If O’Reilly was really a no spinner and WAS LOOKING OUT FOR YOU he would have STRESSED SUBSTANCE OVER STYLE and endorsed President Bush after Kerry’s Global Test and other policy statements after the last debate. So deep down, O'Reilly is rooting for Kerry. The latest Iraq WMD report clearly shows t that Saddam’s endgame was to get the Sanctions lifted and then restart his WMD programs. According to the report, SADDAM WANTED NUCLEAR WEAPONS!! It’s the intent. That’s why Saddam had to be removed form power. I also, believe that the WMD were moved into other countries, like Syria.

Bush did the right thing in Iraq.

The proof is in Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and soon Syria and Lebanon.

Arabs are scared to death that Bush will target their country next.

Why do these people want the US to be such a failure? Why?

If there is no race, there is no coverage. The news outlets will always tear down the leader to turn a landslide into a race that makes them money.

Fox News is no different. They are greedy bastards just like the rest of them.

O'Reilly is just doing his part to make ABC, CBC, NBC, CNN, and FOX, more money. He is main stream media.

You got it, he wants to create an environment where Kerry would be comfortable to come on his show.

Just yesterday I was reading in Ann Coulter's new book about how the dems want to replace the Deparment of Defense with the Department of Closure, whose function would be to compose ways for the President to apologize to our enemies. (The Secretary of Closure would be Dr. Phil.)

No WMD? interesting. If Saddam had further suceeded with the Food for oil program of which he had millions of dollars in his Military Account, if the sanctions had been lifted he would have been free to produce his biological weapons.
Anyone holding their breath to see if mainstream media will discuss the Oil for Food facts?

why even bother posting this?

Perhaps to remind the drinkers of O'Reilly Kool-Aid that O'Reilly is a moron.

Has The Bloviator not read the Duelfer report? Had we not targeted Saddam when we did, the sanctions would likely have been lifted by now, Saddam would still be in power, and he'd be cranking up his WMD program.

Also, last year, David Kay's interim report stated that regardless of the apparent lack of WMDs, Saddam still had the infrastructure, the scientific and technical expertise, the precursor chemicals, the growth media, and the will to pursue WMDs.

O'Reilly's the one who should apologize...for being such a moron.

I want Bill O'Reilly to STFU.

O'Reilly: The test on who to vote for is, first, determine who OBL wants for president and then vote for the other guy.

O'Reilly: (Comparing Cheney and Edwards) Imagine if the debate was broadcast into the caves of the terrorists; which on do you think the terrorists would be most afraid of.

I don't think a Bush apology is a slam dunk.

He is kissing Kerry's posterier.

O’Reilly looks so pitiful in his attempt to get Kerry on his show.

The name of his show is an obvious spin...

p*ss on him......he was on Fox and Friends saying that if the President loses the debate ( which he will no matter how he does because the MSM will SEE to that...look at how Cheney slapped Edwards down and some showed Edwards won....no way ) he will lose the election......
OReilly needs to get a real job and shut up with his advise...
Fox has just about deserted us, except for The Beltway Boys and Britt and Hannity... they forgot who brought them to the dance....so they can kiss my grits at times....I have no choice but to watch them for the debates etc, because MSNBC is so godless already I cant give them my little bit of power to help them out...

What I really long for is even more stories by Bill O'Reilly on...Bill O'Reilly. I especially loved when O'Reilly reported about O'Reilly being on 60 Minutes. Then there is O'Reilly's Most Rediculous Item of the Day, which was O'Reilly on Letterman. Of course, who could forget O'Reilly's story about John Kerry talking to TV guide about coming on O'Reilly's show, "The O'Reilly Factor".

All O'Reilly, all the time.

You know, I don't think Bush should apologize, but i do wonder why he never has? Why does anyone want him to anyhow? I just don't understand!

O'Reilly should also ask Kerry to fly to the moon with his bed stockings on.
