As a relatively new FReeper, this is my first attempt at a vanity post. I heard a news item (i think) that Michael Moore is in talks to put his Docu-Propaganda on Pay-Per-View the night before the election and I cannot help but look back on what may be the greatest legal fleecing in America's history. Micheal Moore has taken hundreds of millions of dollars from the left faithful by playing to their hatred.
He put his DocuProp into the theatres, rallied the troops all over America - Go Left Young Man..and pay for your ticket (or two) on the way in. On average, a healthy $8 to $16 each.
He knows that the money train runs off the tracks on November 2 when Bush gets back into office, so he ensures that his movie gets into Video (where the real money is made) prior to the election. That's good for another $20 each.
And because this idol of American capitalism is ready to milk the cow for each drop of milk, he puts the whole thing on Pay-Per-View, throwing in a few more tasty morsels for the lefty's in the form of new interviews. That's good for 9.95 a pop
Michael Moore does not care about George Bush or John Kerry. Michael Moore cares about his bottom line. He has conned the left into buying a ticket to his movie (perhaps two or three), he has conned them into buying the Video, and just to get their dose of one last Bush bashing, he milks them for another 10 bucks in pay-per-view. If you add it up, he's pilfered almost $50 from each unsuspecting liberal with self-loathing rage against Bush.
On November 2nd, while Bush is dropping the balloons, Michael Moore will be counting his dough, laughing his ass off at the idiot leftists in this country that gave him hundreds of millions of dollars for feeding them a bunch of crap.
Read your history folks. Michael Moore is the modern day Carpet-Bagger selling the left his snake oil. And I for one cannot stop LMAO.

Michael Moore is a niche marketer who is extremely adept at generating free publicity.
The fact is, he stands to benefit substantially more if the President is reelected.

Why doesn't Teerrrraazzaa, open her own health care system?; sponsored by her own billion dollars? She could join with Oprea and Sterisand and Clinton and Penn and O'donnald, all those freaks, and they can do whatever the hell the they want with healthcare. With their own money!!!

I actually saw his ridiculous movie just the other day (don't worry, he made no money off of that viewing eheh). Over the past months that I have been hearing about it, I was actually a little concerned that it might sway some people. But, now having seen it, I think only the truly stupid or faithful would believe a word of that movie. Not only was it full of unsupported accusations, but it was a very poorly made movie as well. It looked no better than a home movie made with a Hi-8 video camera and some video clips downloaded from the internet. Quite frankly, the only reason this movie has made millions for Moore is the hype and the pandering to leftist hatred of Bush.
It's possible that Moore is dumb enough to believe his own propaganda, but I wouldn't be surprised if Moore were really in it just for the money.

I heard that the PayPerView offering is set for the evening of NOV. 1---- election eve.

At this point in time, only the "true believers" will shell out any cash to watch Moore's propaganda. All of the curious saw it this past summer.
It's very possible that the fat slob may end up owing for the PPV broadcast due to lack of subscribers.

Capitalist theory maintains that entrepreneurs should seek out unfulfilled market needs, and satisfy them at a healthy profit. Moore has merely identified the vast void left by Ted Turner, after Turner sold out to TimeWarner in the 90's. Don't listen to Moore's words -- watch his actions & behaviors. For all of his liberal/socialist spouting, his actions are those of a true blue capitalist who has found a niche gold mine in the market: catering to liberal wrath by creating little hate-fests. I dislike what he has to say, how he does it, etc etc, but so it goes with most marketing geniuses, and one has to respect that he's making a ton of money off of the liberals in our society.
