Fox News Watch--What did they just say about Carl Cameron?
Fox News Watch

Posted on 10/09/2004 4:12:19 PM PDT by spitlana

I looked for a thread on Fox News Watch, and didn't find one. Was anyone watching? At the end of the show, they mentioned Carl Cameron being accused by the Kerry campaign of being biased. Something about inadvertantly posting an email on his website regarding Kerry's manicure prior to the first debate. I may not have heard it right--does anyone know anything about this?

AS I'm channel surfing, I pass Fox, nearly everytime I do I hear Kerrys name or see his face.

Fred Barnes is a coward. He was jumping on the Kerry won train like all the others. When he heard america say Bush won...he changed his spots. Coward.

it does seem that their rating have slipped a bit lately. they were riding high after the Republican convention.

I think most people tune in to Fox because they are (were) right-leaning. but I don't think they were unfair or misleading the way CBS and ABC are.

maybe a few more days of low ratings will jolt them back.

This is what I'm hoping too. I've been thinking about this a lot. I'm just wondering if there is not something going on behind the scenes that the public are not privy too. The alphabet news organizations are doing so badly in the ratings...possibly FoxNews is really trying to attract those viewers. Which is a mistake.

Any way time will tell, lets keep our fingers crossed. ;o) In my email I told them when they got rid of Tony Snow and hired bleeding heart liberal Chris Wallace...that should have been a big signal to us all..

Any way time will tell, lets keep our fingers crossed. ;o)

We know it because we're all smart enough to know the McAuliff Dems were voting over and over and over again -- while few of us even bothered. I plan to just write to them from now on -- squeaky wheel stuff.

No, what Fred told Mort was he had gone home watched it again and read the transcript and decided the President was a clear winner.. even Mort didn't 100% disagree so he must have done the same thing.

TO: all those saying they will switch to MSNBC or something.

I really truly don't understand that mindset, support a view that is totally opposed to the conservative because you are ticked at the 'pundit' contributors' views on FoxNews? Ignore that you get both sides when viewing the news segments so are provided with information you are not getting on the other channels? I perhaps could understand not watching any news at all, but to put your support to a liberal network makes no sense.

This is the attitude that got us the liberal congress for decades which legislated the country more and more left, packed the appellate districts with liberal justices from which candidates are proposed to the USSC and moved the schools more and more to brainwashing our children, social enginerring them rather than educating them, took away are constitutional rights to freely practice our faith. All this because each disparate conservative group was angry that 'their' candidate, i.e. republican, didn't reflect 100% their ideology. That's the way to win, cut off the nose to spite the face!

If you don't like the pundits' 'punditing', then by all means email them with your ire, FoxNews certainly cannot muzzle them, but you can change their tune.

Dan Rather did a fundraiser for Dems: he didn't quit. Why should Cameron quit for a lame attempt at humor? If he personally didn't post it online, he shouldn't step down.

Anybody remember the days (the year 2000) when Brit Hume read the news and there were little joke comments scrolling at the bottom of the screen, jabs at the Democrats mostly? Such as, Brit Hume reports Clinton said such-and-such, and a joking thread was posted below? Fox has certainly changed since then!

It's that Neil Gaybler Gobbler.

I was stunned earlier tonight. He was trying to pass off that the MSM newspapers *use* to take sides, but that they haven't in a
long while. That is, mixing editorial commentary in with the news.

It's obvious to me that he was Bill Clinton's roommate when they both were smoking, but claimed to be not inhaling.

I need to write an e-Mail - I was so MAD at them last night - I could have spit on them ..... My whole family was sitting, watching our President do such a great job and then to have to listen to them spin and lie and say it was a tie??? There is NO EXCUSE for being unfair and unbalanced at a time like this!!!

I really gave to them. I intend to send to others at FoxNews. I was mad as hell too. Lots of us at FR have been sending them emails over their coverage. Please join us...the more 'bloggers' as they call us will (which we're not here at FR) that let them have it...maybe the more opportunity we might have to stop there left leaning.

But, if it SHOULD happen, I'm going to start to lobby to have Cameron perform PR for the Bush W.H. I bet he'll LOVE the opportunity to turn the tables on ALL the press that turned on him then...how 'bout Cameron for Bush White House press secretary for the next four years - the guy McClellan they have now seems ineffectual - heard somebody describe him not long ago as looking "as though he's afraid of the press" - pretty well on target IMO......

I think Scott is a nice guy and the prez is pretty loyal, but I'd love to have Cameron feel the slot. He reminds me of Ari in many ways.

Oh, I still watch the Beltway Boys; I just will not watch News Watch any longer, because of Neil Gobbler. He is simply too obnoxious...

Wendell G travels with the Bush campaign and reports for them.

Wendell G would sooner eat dust than ever utter the words, "President Bush".

I despise that man.

I can only hope that having to travel with President Bush is the ultimate injustice to him. I have to belive that he has a clause in his contract that prevents him from having to ever say "President Bush".
