After 42 seasons and seven failed postseasons, the Astros finally have won a postseason series and it comes again the hated Braves in their own crib, 12-3. Carlos Beltran is the star with four hits and five RBIs!

I find only disappointment in a twelfth postseason appearance ending early.

I like Bagwell and Biggio so much it is really going to hurt some to have to pull for my Cardinals. Oh well!
Go Cards!!!

Houston's story is the miracle of this season. 56-60 eight weeks out and seven games out of the wild card race.
But, their starting pitching is thin, and the Cards have the best sticks in baseball.
But, this is a big win, and a great run.

My brother-in-law gave me an Astros hat a while back. I'm wearing it and calling myself a Houston fan until the Phils fire Ed Wade.

Finally! It's been quite a long while for this transplanted Texan from Houston.
On to the Cardinals.

Finally!!!!!!!!! I am so glad they took a substantial lead in the eigth inning so I didn't have to be on pins and needles during the ninth.
