Transcript of Sean Hannity Annihilating Terry McAuliffe (Don't touch me Sean)
Fox News Via TIVO | 10/14/2004 | self from TIVO

Hannity: Alright Terry, let me ask you this.

McAuliffe: Shoot Sean.

Hannity: He spent 20 years in the United States Senate, 300 Bills proposed, he only passed five. Can you look into the camera right there -- and don't spin -- one specific piece of legislation that John Kerry passed that made this country better in the past 20 years. Look right in the camera right there. What is it?

McAuliffe: Yeah. I can tell you John Kerry was involved in a lot of pieces of legislation.

Hannity: No, no, no. One he wrote, that one accomplishment with his name on it. One bill. Look into the camera.

McAuliffe: First of all Sean, John Kerry has worked on the United States Senate --

Hannity: One bill.

McAuliffe: Working on. He's working on the Small Business bill, he's worked on defense appropriations. He's had a lot of bills with his name on them.

Hannity (over McAuliffe): One bill. Name one that he's accomplished on his own.

McAuliffe: He did a small business financing to help small businesses that he did in the 90s.

Hannity: What did it do? Small Businesses in the 90s?

McAuliffe: Provide loans for more small businesses to go out and --

Hannity: That's it in 20 years? One bill in 20 years? That's all he's done?

McCauliffe: First of all Sean, this election is a referendum first and foremost on George Bush's failed leadership.

Hannity (over McCauliffe): 20 years, that's all he's done?

McAuliffe: George Bush is the first president in 72 years not to create a single job.. he's got a defecit of $424 --

Hannity: I've got your talking points. I got another question. Let me ask you this.

McAuliffe (over Hannity): He couldn't answer any questions today.

Hannity: No, he did. Let me ask you this question.

McAuliffe: What did he answer? The minimum wage? Health care? Immigration?

Hannity: Let me ask you this question. I'll ask the questions.

McAuliffe: I got my time to answer them.

Hannity: The tone in Washington came up tonight and throughout this campaign, I want to know if you support your candidate repeatedly referring to the President as misleading and lying to the country, Ted Kennedy saying he concocted a war for political gain. Howard Dean saying that the President knew about the events -- that he knew about 9/11 ahead of time. Dennis Kuscinich saying that he targeted civilians for assassination.

These are the leaders of your party. That's the negative tone of Washington. Look in the cameras and tell Americans that you are proud of what your leading Democrats said.

McAuliffe: No I don't think that's true.

Hannity: Are you proud of what they've said. Do you support those statements?

McAuliffe: I am very proud of what the Democrats have done in this campaign, yeah.

Hannity: The President's a liar? You want to call him a liar?

McAuliffe: You bet I do.

Hannity: You support that?

McAuliffe: Absolutely.

Hannity: And the President concocted a war for political gain? And the President targeted civilians for assassinations?

McCauliffe: Look, look at tonight. George Bush tonight said that he didn't say that about Usama Bin Laden and said it Sean. He couldn't answer the questions Sean.

Hannity: Do you believe George Bush knew about 9/11 ahead of time? Do you believe that?

McAuliffe: No, I don't believe it.

Hannity: As Howard Dean advanced. Don't you think it's wrong that Howard Dean said that?

McAuliffe: I'll let Howard Dean speak for himself. Ask me the questions ---

Hannity: He's your party. You're the head of the party.

McAuliffe: You want to be responsible for everyone in the Republican party Sean?

Hannity: This is what your party said.

McAuliffe: Listen we're an enormous tent. We've got a lot of people who make different statements Sean.

Hannity: Why don't you condemn Dennis Kuscinish when he says the President is targeting civilians for assassinations. We are at war and your party has politicized the war and your party has said false things about the President. Your party calls the President a liar every day. And I think as leader, you ought to say, if you want to change the tone of Washington it's gonna start with me.

McAuliffe: No, no let's change George Bush and get this country moving in the right direction Sean.

Hannity: Why don't you start changing the tone?

McAuliffe: I could care less about the tone today. I care about millions of people who lost their job --

Hannity: So you're proud of that?

McAuliffe: the largest budget deficit we've ever had --

Hannity: The greatest rate of growth in 20 years.

McAuliffe: Why don't we talk about some real issues Sean.

Hannity: The greatest rate of growth in 20 years. We got out of your party's recession. We got out of the negative impact of 9/11.

McAuliffe (to Colmes): Our party's recession don't you love that?

Hannity: A lower unemployment rate.

McAuliffe: 22 million new jobs, a 5.6 trillion dollar surplus.

Hannity: Because the Republicans took over the Congress.

McAuliffe: Oh yeah, they did a lot for it. The Deficit Reduction Act of 1993.

Colmes: They keep misstating Kerry's record, they keep misstating statistics and you can go to the same one that Cheney talked about factcheck.org and get the truth. The same one that he said we should look at during the last debate.

McAuliffe: This is very simple Sean, if people think that George Bush has done a great job in this country creating jobs -- then go vote for him.

Hannity: One accomplishment, one accomplishment. One bill with his name on it.

McAuliffe: Please don't touch me.

If you want John Kerry if you want to move this country forward. You want to create some jobs, you want to cut our deficit in half, you want to fully fund education and health care Sean ---

Hannity: You have talking points 20 years ago.

McAuliffe: And that's why we're winning in the polls.

Colmes: We gotta run. We'll be right back.

Hannity: We'll see on election day.

McAuliffe: I got my watch for you.

Hannity: I'll see you at the inauguration.

McAuliffe: George Bush where the hands go backwards.

Colmes: By the way, if you missed any part of tonight's debate.....

I'll give Hannity credit. Anybody who can be around McAwfull without beating him with a lead pipe has amazing self control.

No kidding. Put me in a dark alley next to McAufwul and I'd be hard pressed not to connect with a right hook to his jaw.

Hannity showed enormous restraint. I was impressed that he got him to kinda even answer the question by admitting the one piece of legislation that Kerry passed, got McAwful to admit that he advocates calling Bush a liar, and got McAwful to admit that he could "care less" about the tone of Washington politics.

McAwful is the lowest form of pond scum IMHO.

It's an insult to pond scum to be in the same sentence as Terry McCauliff

Was Joe Lockheart out spinning last night? I didn't see him and have not heard from him much for awhile. Are they keeping him in a low profile position since the CBS thing?

I saw Burkett's buddy Lockheart spewing his venom after the second debate. Didn't see him tonight.

Hannity didn't just touch McAwful, he smacked him up, down and sideways like a rented mule.

I met McAwful at CPAC while I was in uniform, he shook my hand and thanked me for my service and I still wanted to punch the SOB in the mouth. What an idiot.

Understandable. I don't see it this way at all. I'm glad these brawls are out in the open. Far better than the way things were 10 years ago.

Sean was great last night - he scored big points in showing how scummy the DNC is and Terry knew it to the point of losing it. And Sean really needs to drop that toad Alan as he can't even come up with a reasonable argument, much less a reasonable point of view. On the other hand, Alan is great as an example of what we are fighting...

A very ironic statement there: "Hannity: You have talking points 20 years ago. "

Whereas Hannity's are fresh, I guess. There is nothing in that transcript that he doesn't say every three minutes. All he did was shout McAuliffe down (not that Terrible Terry doesnt deserve it).
