This is very important since Kerry flat out lied during the debate and claimed he got 56 bills passed in his Senate career. Fact is he was lazy and chasing skirts before getting hitched to Teresa, or was it the other way around?

During the debate, Bush campaign spokesman Steve Schmidt sent out an "Urgent Alert" to reporters that read, complete with weird capitalization: "John Kerry's statement that he passed 56 bills during his 20 years in the senate is a complete and utter falsehood. Kerry passed five bills and four resolutions." In Spin Alley after the debate was over, Bush campaign communications director Nicolle Devenish called Kerry's comment about the number of bills he authored his "Al Gore moment." But when Schmidt asserts that Kerry passed only five bills and four resolutions, he means bills that passed both houses of Congress and were signed into law. The Bush campaign's own "Breaking Debate Fact" e-mailed during the debate says that Kerry was the lead sponsor of 31 bills, 122 amendments, and 28 resolutions that passed the Senate.

There isn't much that he does agree on when it comes to traditional Christianity. Objectively speaking, he is living in "mortal sin" as we Catholics call it. In other words, he is dead in his sin; cut off from the living grace of God through his own self-serving behavior and perverted desires.
It really irks me when he reverts to his "cathilic faith" as the basis for anything: as if the Faith was of any import to him. I pray for his conversion of heart and leave him to the mercy of God. But, IMHO, I think his bishop should "... deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.[1 Cor 5:5]" (excommunication)

I know this is perverse, but if all senators managed to be this "unproductive" wouldn't we all be better off? Especially if this yaboo is the most left wing senator, why would we have wanted him to be championing all sorts of "legislation"?

actually they were talking the other day on here that he divorced her and only recently got an annulment so the church would accept Teresa as his wife. Now I think that's what I heard. If not, can someone correct this? But that would go along with his need to cleanse records and get prepared to run for president.

What really gets me irate is that the dimwit media will NOT report that Kerry lied when he said '56 bills?' They are quick to report that GWB supposedly lied to the American people about WMD BUT they give Kerry a pass on every lie he tells!!!!
That's the way I heard it too - you know, be it resolved that the First of November will be known as "Useful Idiot Day" every Leap Year kind of thing.

IIRC, Carl Cameron, on FoxNews after the debate, confirmed to Brit that Kerry 'signatured'/sponsored 56 bills that passed both the House and Senate, but only 5 of those were signed into law by a President.
[So, Presidents pocket vetoed 51 of Kerry's bills.]

I too detest people who have such a superficial level of supposed faith. Either you are Catholic/Reformed/Lutheran/whatever or you are not. You can't split the two.
