Yes, it's very naughty and it liberally employs most, if not all, of George Carlin's infamous seven words, but "Team America: World Police" is the funniest, most politically incorrect, and most unabashedly conservative movie in a long, long time. The movie ridicules Muslim terrorists, Hollywood liberals and the French, and it does so in a joyous fashion. The movie reminds us that in addition to hot, young, blonde infobabes, conservatives have an almost total monopoly on humor. Other than Harry Shearer and Stan Freberg, can you think of any funny leftists? Didn't think so.
I don't want to give any of the details away, but let me just say that if you despise portly pinko Michael Moore, this movie is for you. If you think Sean Penn is an execrable airhead, this movie is for you. And if you believe that Alec Baldwin is as sleazy as the one character he always plays in the movies, then by all means, this movie is for you...........

I dismissed this movie originally..
Has anyone else seen it? I might have to check it out.
I'm going to stand in line for it this weekend. At least, I hope there's a line.
Another film everybody needs to see if they haven't already, is Tarantino's "True Romance". The Hollywood Leftists hate Tarantino almost as much as they hate Joe McCarthy, and True Romance is a big part of it. The movie amounts to a statement, particularly the final scenes; Tarantino is basically saying "This is what I think of the typical Hollywood actor, and this is what I think of the typical Hollywood director and producer, this is what they look like to me."
Is it playing at select theaters? I don't see it listed where I live.
Heather Nauert ....... in my dreams.
Is this a new release to theaters or offered in DVD?
DVD.
We're looking forward to this movie as well. We could use a little humor after this intense debate week.
It's gonna be a cool weekend. :o)
I bet all the HOT scenes taken out at MPAA insistence get put back in next year in in the Director's Cut DVD Edition. No you won't miss anything even in the bowdlerized version. Its still a hoot.
I saw a preview for it last night. Kim Jong Il sounds very much like Eric Cartman which was highly amusing to me.
< .. ahem ... >
Now in select theatres...playing everywhere Friday the 15th.
Don't you find her efficient, capable, and extremely pretty? When she reports on a story, she hardly ever makes a mistake. She is wonderful in many ways.
That's a good movie. I don't think he directed it, though. IIRC, he wrote the screenplay.
Can you stick Laurie Dhue's face on there also? ;-)
The trailer they show when entering the website is a hoot, to say the least.
