Statement by Former Senator Bob Dole (On Democrats Trying to Disenfranchise Military Voters)

ARLINGTON, VA Former Senator Bob Dole issued the following statement:
Here we go again. In 2000 Democrats tried to disenfranchise military voters in Florida. They tried to do it again in 2004 using the same cast of characters.
In other key states, like Ohio and Pennsylvania, we are seeing a similar strategy, with Kerry operatives trying to block the extension necessary to ensure military votes are counted. Rather than filing as soon as possible, Democrats waited until the litigation would hold up state and local election officials.
With less than 20 days until the presidential election, it is likely Democrats may succeed in disenfranchising members of the military currently stationed overseas. We need to make sure the men and women defending liberty and freedom are able to exercise the rights they protect every day.

How about a TV ad with Bob Dole telling the story. It would be dynamite!

If the Republicans tried anything as sleazy as this, the MSM would be flogging this as a front page/lead story until the next election. The Democrats only try this crap BECAUSE THEY CAN. Thank you, Dan Rather, et al.

(Putting words in Terry McAuliffe's mouth): "I have a brilliant idea. I'll do something that will pi$$ off the military, a group that reliably votes 75% against my party, and the only organization in the entire world with the guns and the brass to put a total and complete stop to my criminal political activity."
Boy, what a genius this guy is. He better hope the military never decides to act out their frustrations with that scenario. It would be very ugly indeed.

SO! Kerry is trying to betray the military again even before he comes CIC. Maybe someone should let the soldiers in the filed know what they are up to.

John Kerry has raised doubts about our troops' ability to maintain security as well as Iraqi's ability to decide their own future through elections. He has called the allies in Iraq "window dressing." This is all reminiscent of his appearance before a Senate Committee in 1971 where he suggested with nothing but second hand information American GIs were committing atrocities and war crimes of the worst kind in Vietnam.
Any one who is still on the fence about what electing John Kerry to the office of President of the United States will mean to American servicemen/women has only to click the link below to see what he really thinks of our Men/Women of Honor!

This is what Rendell's job was in FL in 2000 (keeping the military vote from being counted.) Some of us figured out that this was what all the back and forth of on the ballot, not on the ballot, the Democrats were doing with Ralph Nader in PA and Ohio. If an absentee ballot has gone to someone in the military overseas and it has Ralph Nader's name on it, even though the person does not vote for Nader, if the ballot is returned, it is automatically discarded because the ballot is incorrect.

This is a bunch of crap! I'm sick of this sh*t. Bad enough to have heard yesterday that a judge in Ohio or Pennsylvania (can't remember which) ruled that if people show up to vote in the wrong precinct, they will be allowed to vote! Now the dems will be bussed all over towns and cities to vote in any and all precincts.
Folks, we better hold on cause we're in for a helluva fight in this election. Voter fraud will be rampant. Unless there is a stupendous October surprise awaiting Kerry that will turn off his supporters, I'm worried that this is gonna be a huge mess.

This is the only way the Rats can win the election. Desperate times call for desperate measures. If they succeed there will be civil unrest. And the police and military will not intervene .

Why am I not surprised? I don't know why this judge should get the final say in this matter. You'd think this assinine decision of his could be appealed to a higher court, even if the Supremes had to get involved. It's insane!

I hope the President mentions this in his stump speeches! This word needs to go out to all his supporters so they can spread the word in their states.
