Hey, I know it's not earth-shattering, but the "nuances" are overwhelming

So what are the chances that neither Houston nor Boston will be in the Series?Overwhelming, as far as the Red Sox are concerned.

I think the threat of a World Series is greatly exaggerated.

One thing I don't like is that the Yankees have not won a championship during a Republican presidency since 1958. And only six of their 26 championships have come under Republicans. That number is way out of alignment.

Last month, while Edwards was campaigning in Wisconsin, he said that the winner of Washington vs. Green Bay (10/31/04 @ Wash) has been an indicator in who wins the presidency for the past 30 years.
According to Edwards, the history has been that if the winner is the Redskins, a Republican wins the White House, while if the Packers come out on top, a 'rat gets sworn in.

OK, here is one for you:
Everytime the Red Sox have won the World Serious, a Democrat was President.
Damn, and I love the sawx. Well, as one already said, we won't have to worry about that this year.

What will be overwhelming is how badly the Yankees will kick the Red Sock butts.
