No doubt about it. The hour long show was dominated by Kerry partisans. They showed a 6 min clip from a Pro Kerry film and spoke with its producer for about 5 minutes. I doubt they even showed a two minute clip of the movie critical of Kerry and spoke to its producer for less than 30 seconds.

You are correct.
It was not what was feared. It strongly supported the Kerry lies.
The producer of the movie up the river should be hunted down and shot like a mad dog.

No, you are wrong. They were originally going to do a show about Stolen Honor, not necessarily showing it in its entirety.. If you look back at their original announcement that it what it was going to be. They changed their format after all the flack they received, and barely mentioned or excerpted Stolen Honor except at the very beginning.
The POWs were shafted again.

I smell something too, a know it all who hasn't watched the program and knows what everyone's opinion on it should be.
Stolen Honor looks like a wonderful documentary, unfortunately 5 minutes of clips surrounded by 55 minutes of a second rate news program is lame.

Perhaps its better to 'plant a seed' of doubt about kerry and hope to hell it germinates REALLY fast.
Finally! Someone gets it!!

I never thought it was going to be Stolen Honor in total. Apparently very little of it was, based on comments on the other thread.

Well, George Butler said things that were really stupid and he was very hard to listen to. MONOTONE! One statement close to the end made me laugh. Someone was questioning why did he have a video camera filming his every move when he was supposed to be fighting? I also liked the part where Nixon and Colson was discussing Kerry. They said Kerry was doing this because he wanted to get into politics. After that clip, the newscaster stated that Kerry ran for office shortly after. Of course, all this is paraphrased. It was a boring documentary and I don't think the Dems can complain about it. They are probably proclaiming victory right now.

We must have seen a different show than you did. There was nothing negative about Kerry that wasn't countered and the counter not questioned. I well remember the Vietnam era and the traitor's testimony and this farce did nothing to show the pain Kerry caused.

Try to remember that the rest of the world isn't quite as strident about John Kerry as we are.
(Howlin, the following angst is not against you...)
That's because they have poor powers of imagination and empathy.
Sadly, you are describing at least 40% of the USA electorate. (And about
95% of Old Europe)
As in not being able to conceive of what it would be like to be in The Hanoi Hilton
for YEARS and get to listen to some American reserve officer droning on over the
intercom about the "war crimes" that have gotten you imprisoned.

The slash and burn ( that I wanted ) probably would have turned off the people who are still confused. Exactly. Why give them PROOF positive that conservatives are as nasty as they think we are?
Hell, I'm still waiting for the Clintons to be hung in stockades on the Mall in D.C.

i am certain he got a less than honourable before that.

I did not think that they would air all of it either, but what they did was a joke. They mislead everyone by implying that they would air part of it when they in fact did not air any of it (maybe 10 seconds of it). It was a total junk IMO.
