It seems to me that this is perfect because it will make the dems look like the paranoid lunatics they really are since they were throwing such a hissy fit about it. Dems yelling and screaming like the little babies they are, is a real turnoff to undecideds....I should know, I was an undecided once and they made me so sick with their antics, it changed my mind for good.

I'm disappointed with the TROLL alerts. I am certainly NOT a troll and I thought
the Sinclair production was horrid.

As disconcerting as it may be, the Troll Alert frequency is sure to hit
fever pitch with the election season.
There's bound to be some "shots from the hips" and "stray rounds".

I took one yesterday as I posted my imagined memo that the Kerry campaign would send
to their lawyers in order to shut down a conference center in Blue Bell, PA
that will be showing Stolen Honor.

I thought it was clearly a fake/parody (of the truth that Demos use lawyers
for censorship purposes)...but I got a mild stinger from someone who thought
I was a DU troll.

Here is what the "other side" is saying.

For those of you able to watch the broadcast tonight, I'm sure you'll agree with me that we have met our objective! Sinclair has capitulated, and aired an hour-long "news show" that actually presented both sides of the issue.

Let us not forget what Sinclair was planning on airing. Visit the website at http://www.boycottsbg.com to see the Yahoo TV listing. Our actions kept them from airing the propaganda piece, Stolen Honor, in its entirety.

We changed this program. We made a difference. We, quite possibly, changed the outcome of this election.

Let us also not forget the power that we, collectively, have in this country. We can make a difference when we want to. I've never felt that way before, but tonight I do. I am so proud of what we've accomplished.

However, we must still be vigilant with Sinclair. SinclairPatrol.com will still go up, and we will watch them like hawks. We have won this battle, but we must be prepared for more attacks.

Sinclair made it very clear tonight, at the end of their "news special", that they wanted letters in support of them to go to the FCC. This means that they are scared. We have shown them our power, and THEY ARE SCARED.

We need to keep our momentum going. We must be ready to challenge their licenses.

I think there will be a big story this upcoming week that may solidify the Bush victory -- just a feeling from closely observing politics for five decades!

You can see my join date too, but I have faithfully read FR since 1999...just not bold enough or angry enough to post. Not everyone new to posting is really a Newbie.

BTW, all the discussion of who is a new poster on FR can be a counterproductive waste of time. PLEASE, let everyone stick to the real issues being discussed.......... in this case on this thread, may I remind us, it is the quality (or lack of it!) and honesty of this Sinclair show. All the newbie/troll talk makes me want to puke, when I think of how important issues are here in 2004.

Please stop all the incessant questions about the newer posters. It's foolish and meaningless, and gets people off subject. Afterall, George Washington and other great folks were new at things in their lives, and they had great merit when they were just beginning a venture. FR is brought down by all the continual attacks on new posters, IMO.

I figure with the 3 to 4 hours a day I have spent (on the average) here at FR each day for over five years, I know it well and I know that attaching apparent new posters is not good form, and does not reflect well on the ones doing the attacking. People at FR should be bigger than that. Sorry, just had to say this.

If you've been here for so long, then you knew what to expect. I will agree with you that Sinclair sucks, but 'Stolen Honor' will be seen and discussed, and Kerry will be on the defensive for the next few days.

Exactly. I have noticed over more than five years studying here that there is a group of about a few dozen who spend a great deal of their time harassing new posters. It's sick, and it is hurtful to this excellent site.

FYI, I did a search using the keyword 'ZOT' and counted 12 posts in the last 7 days that were zotted and their troll posters banned. Now that's just the dummies that got caught. there are undoudtably many, many more who are lurking. There is a large increase in disruptors here lately, and if people think I'm being too harsh or judgmental, tough.
