Man, I wish I had the time and substance to head down there and help some way. Up here in Indiana the polls will be quiet and polite. Those two thugs would have received a drill sergeant's dressing down had I been present at this incident, and I am not even a drill sergeant.

The victims need to be interviewed on video, so that these stories can be rolled out for the 2006 and 2008 campaigns.

{I wish the media,the few times they mention these intimidation tactics that are happening,would quit adding the prissy little qualifier,"both sides are doing it". Both sides are NOT doing it. }

God you are so right and thanks for saying it. Even Fox in their attempt to be balanced forgets that balanced is not always fair. My favorite example of this was during the Clinton organized crime wave of breaking every known election law in 96.

The media would always follow reports of Clinton taking ILLEGAL contributions from foreign nations with the statement that both sides are doing it. Their "proof" was that the republicans had a lot of soft money contributions which was of course perfectly legal and present on both sides. Some may have said soft money was out of control but still legal and many others were in favor of it.

So how can you say both sides are equally responsible when one is breaking a law in a way that sells influence to foreign enemies and the other side is just doing something that is perfectly legal and some think should be changed ? You tell me but it is the way the media always approaches things when the dems are at fault.

Exactly, when they catch a Republican in a "gotcha", they never seem to feel the need to "balance" it by saying "both sides do it". They sure didn't when they went on a witch hunt against Trent Lott. They were all over Robert Dole about how he couldn't fulfill his Senate duties and campaign too,but not a peep about Kerry not being able to do so,and HE hasn't even shown up for work most of the time when he WASN'T running!

And don't forget, the Democratic Party is the party of the Klan.

I'm bringing my firearm. Threaten me with physical violence and I will shoot them down like the dogs they are.

I've seen a lot of good advice on what to do at the polls...and have another to add.

EVERYONE should bring a cell phone with them to the polling places. If you have one with a camera--so much the better. A camera phone (if its a good one) is a lot less obvious than even a small digital camera.

Also, the cell phone should have the follwing numbers on speed dial:

Your local Police precinct.

The number of the local Republican committee and/or Bush Cheney headquarters.

As a few have said..travel in groups (I'm in NYC---always a good idea here!)

BRING YOUR ID! You might want to also bring a utility bill as well. The 'rats may suddenly try to 'enforce' the rules on those who are known to be AGAINST sKerry (or not as demonrats) BE READY!

Those of us in cities have more to be concerned about---but all should be ready for come-what-may......

(I will be bringing my horse, Fuzzy, to the polls. He was the first horse at Belmont Park to endorse GWB. He is a no-nonsense conservative T-bred!)

Personally, I think the Dims assertions that Pubbies have been engaging is intimidation is just like the Left's assertions that Pubbies have been stealing and defacing Kerry signs are total Bravo Sierra, just trying to repeat the line the media used during Klintoon's problems "everybody does it."

Don't do anything that will land you in jail for the rest of your life.

If you face imminent bodily harm from a deadly force, then the use a weapon is justified, otherwise, the best weapon to use is a local TV station.

Arm yourself with the news-desk phone numbers and email addresses of local TV stations and radio stations. Arm yourself with a video camera and a camera phone.

While at the same time the Volusia County Sheriff watching the scene from the front door was busy telling the B/C sign holder to stay OFF the gras median (???) while the K/E people walked around the middle of the parking area.

The person carrying the B/C sign should have walked up and stood right beside the person carrying the Kerry sign. What could the Sheriff have said to him?

"Ernst Roehm was also a widely known homosexual so I think the allusion to the Democrat thugs is appropriate."

I did think about some of the character traits of the namesake. That one hadn't occurred to me. I think it's probably appropriate to speculate about the sexual peccadilloes of the individuals who engage in this kind of criminal, bullying behavior.

For what it's worth, I couldn't care less what party the individuals who perpetuate this kind of BS associate themselves with. They should pray that I don't end up on their jury.

"Roehm was a (expletive deleted) but brownshirts covers this situation quite nicely, IMO."

But the term 'brownshirts' isn't easily used as a verb.
