First, they need to change voter fraud cases from misdemeanors to felony cases and then prosecute ANYONE connected with fraud in a vigorous manner.

Could someone tell me what our legislators have been doing this past four years? I can’t believe it is legal to pay people a certain amount for each new person that they sign up. That just invites fraud. If they don’t get these things fixed then it is time to clean house. It probably is anyway.

I would think that all the secretaries of state could work on this together. Voter fraud and legitimate elections are really non-partisan issues. What are we paying them for?

As FReeper Grampadave postulated: Voter fraud must be made one of the most severe crimes in America. Those who commit it go to jail. Those, who organize the voter fraud, lose their homes, savings and double the jail time.

Is Alcatraz still vacant?

It started when the parties quit picking the nominees and states quit picking the winner. Unless we have a police state we will never have fraud free elections. Of course fraud is not a worry when there is only one candidate.

Consider vote fraud and voting fraud another benefit of DEMOCRACY.

They should stay below the MSM radar on this one... That way, the press looks a fool for calling an election falsely like 2000...

Oh really?? Where were you in 2000?

I was unaware that Al Gore won the election in 2000.

99% of those 14,000 aren't going to be showing up.

No, but a proxy voter will show up to vote under that name, if there's no Republican poll watchers to catch it.

"in Ohio election officials are reviewing the voter registration of Jive Turkey Sr., who was among 1,284 suspicious applications that Cuyahoga County, Ohio, election officials will turn over to prosecutors to investigate for potential fraud.

Last week, officials in Defiance County, Ohio, questioned the voter registration applications of Dick Tracy, Mary Poppins and Michael Jordan."

It's funny, but it's not. These people have no reservations whatsoever about trashing our election process.

Serious suggestion:

The Dems just love running instant background checks on people buying guns. Why not do the same for voters--an instant check of citizenship and felony convictions?

There should be national standards for national elections. To register a voter should produce a birth certificate, SS card, and picture ID, such as a drivers license, and proof of residence such as an electric bill with home address and zip code on it. Then and only then should a voters registration card be issued.
