NEW YORK -- Hip-hop mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs is following the lead of President Bush and Sen. John Kerry by taking his get-out-the-vote campaign to the swing states.

"If you are going to play the game, you need to play it all the way," Combs said in a telephone interview Saturday. "And if you talking about flexing your power, and you ain't flexing in the swing states, then you ain't flexing your power."

Combs' Citizen Change initiative will launch a three-day get-out-the-vote drive starting Tuesday in Milwaukee and Detroit, followed by rallies in Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Miami. Combs said he will be joined by other celebrities, including actor Leonardo DiCaprio and singer Mary J. Blige.

P. Diddy started his nonprofit, nonpartisan initiative earlier this year, saying he wanted to use unconventional means to register thousands of young, minority and urban voters he says are overlooked by politicians.

Anything trying to register more black voters is by definition not 'non-partisan.'

"And if you talking about flexing your power, and you ain't flexing in the swing states, then you ain't flexing your power."

In the entire history of American politcs - no, the entire history of Western Civilization - certainly there have never been more profound words than these from P Diddy. We are blessed that he has taken up the important caust of "getting out the vote." The vote is what it's all about, and we've got to get that out.

Vote or Die!

[cough, gag, ugh, /s]

If the fraud gets too out of hand it could end up being "vote and die" or as many democrats do, "die and then vote".

If Sean's doing it, shouldn't it be "Vote Or I'll Shoot Your A**?"

One of the late night talk shows had the two guys that did the "Team America" puppet movie on. Towards the end of the interview the host(??) gave them both a "Vote or Die" t-shirt. These two guys went after it like sharks to chum. They reminded people that not voting is OK, if you don't know the issues, don't vote. If you are going to vote, find out the issues and educate yourself about them. It was very impressive. Think we have a pair of closet republicans on our hands.

The only people who could possibly give a good crap about P Diddy are blacks and they are already voting for Kerry

Trey and Matt are not closet Republicans. They won some big lib award a couple of years ago because they do a cartoon that has 8-year-olds cussing. They got up to accept the award and said, essentially if not exactly: "Thanks, but we're Republicans." South Park and Team America are very pro-America, pro-Republican, pro-individual liberty. But you've got to be able to get past the cussing and the violence.

It's his buddies at MTV, a propaganda outlet owned by Viacom.
He even had his own show, kind of a Real World meets American Idol thing....
