Listen up, FReepers. (give me a moment with the folks, mods?)

Posted on 10/24/2004 7:53:49 PM PDT by Pukin Dog

We have got to stop meeting like this.

But, there is a post that has generated some 500 responses on a complete NON-ISSUE. We are all keyed up, waiting for this election to be over, but let’s not lose our minds.

We are falling for a trap that has been set months ago. Many trolls have infiltrated this board, and they intend to do all they can to demoralize you, with postings of gloom and doom in response to what they see in the media. Some FReepers naturally respond in kind with negative comments about Bush and his team.

You can all help each other out by being a little less emotional and a LOT more skeptical about what you are going to see in the MSM next week. Most of it will be for the direct purpose of making you feel hopeless enough not to go to the polls. There have been two news items posted just today that are completely false stories, then we get the Drudge thing about an old story that actually helps Bush more than it hurts him.

What happens is that the Left reads your responses and uses them against you. You can expect to see stories about "Depressed Republicans" or "Republicans Have Lost Faith" or some other crap like that in the news this week. Pay no attention to it. Bush's internal polls suggest that if we turn out to vote, there is NO WAY HE CAN LOSE THIS ELECTION.

The LEFT knows this, and they are doing all they can to scare you, anger you, and do anything else that they can do to convince you that it is a waste of time for you to go to the polls.

We know their game, yet we fall for it over and over again. Do yourself a favor and turn off Chris Matthews. Turn off MSNBC, ABC, CNN and the rest, and on Election Day, get your ass to the polls and shove your vote right up their ass. This election is ours to win, so don’t be swayed by negativity. Get out there and win this one for your country!

Thanks for posting, PukinDog. We had our Bush/Cheney rally here in Port Angeles on Saturday...even here in the liberal belly of the beast, we got an OVERWHELMING response in waves, "thumbs-up," honking horns, and shouts of "4 more years"!

As Libertina says, we are fighting hard here in Washington state to win hearts and minds!

You might want to take a look here!!!

Everything that's said at FR, is twisted and then regurgitated elsewhere. I suggest we take "some" of our conversations to "PRIVATE CHATTER" and stop giving our enemies ANY MORE ammo!! *wink wink*

I'll bet they look at our website more than we look at theirs...they know which one reflects more intelligence!
I for one wouldn't waste my time looking at DUmmies.

Excellent point and excellent post.

I'm marking this one to comment on later.

Ain't no depressed Republican here, what are you talking about? Geez even Hawaii is tied now. Kerry is getting his butt kicked. We are taking PA and NJ plus Ohio and Florida. It will be over by the end of eastern standard time zone poll closings.

Viva Bush Carajo!

- A little bird has told Criswell that there is a list containing the "real" name and address of 131 regular posters at a certain progressive web site (I can't divulge the name here but even a DUmmy could figure it out). The list came into a Freeper's hands via a friend who did some poking around at the site itself. (Somebody's security desperately needs upgrading and somebody's back door needs to be shut a little tighter. Darn those default passwords anyway).

- The same little bird chirped that said list contains 21 names whose tax status is most charitably described as "questionable". Nine of them haven't filed any tax returns at all in over 10 years, and others have some very interesting deductions, shelters, and itemizations. One even sent a token donation to the National Republican Senatorial Committee in an attempt to forestall suspicion. There are some surprisingly deep pockets on the list; some in Washington DC and suburban Maryland. One owns a home in Georgetown, another is the "brains" behind a popular progressive blog.

- The bird still refuses to shut up; it says that some naughty Freeper has already anonymously sent said list (with accompanying corroboration) to an alphabet soup government agency almost 3 months ago, and has it on very good authority that the resulting audits should start around the first part of January, after the election.

Take all of this with a grain of salt; who believes what a bird has to say?

I've never lost confidence, most of the hand wringers need to grip reality, and the undecideds need to get a clue.

Screw 'em, I've seen some pretty good gems of mine quoted on other sights and they can't refute what I say.

Now that you had your vanity post, why not just run back to DU "GeorgeBushytail"?

Yea, I know. But...

Disregard post #211, but I agree with your post numero uno. Little do the DUmmies know I've infiltrated their boards for the past 18 months. I think the best advice is to ignore the hand wringers and doomer-gloomers, because they aren't the base of this energetic party. A base that cannot wait to get to the polls and cast their vote for President George W. Bush.

After the election, the trolls will be mass piled onto a wood pyre and set alight.

Apparently, my posts are somehow getting under their thin, washed out, dope-smokin' skin. I know liberals lie, but this election has given the word 'lie' a whole new meaning. We can never let those bastards back into power.

I won't give them the satisfaction of banning my username, because I won't reveal myself on their board Nov. 3rd and gloat.
