Nader is on the ballot in NJ
Go Jersey!!! Go W!!
He can save any leftovers to use against (in no particular order) Iran, Syria, North Korean, and possibly Saudi Arabia.
We lived in NJ in 2000 also and of course knew the state would go for Gore but it was satisfying enough that our county (Summit) went for Bush and we re-elected our rep Mike Furgeson.
We moved to OH last spring and after living in Dem country for over a decade (all over the NYC tri-state area) I was delighted by the notion of living somewhere that could actually go Republican nationally and that candidates actually visited, and wouldn't it be ironic if NJ went Bush this time and OH didn't! :)
I have been predicting an upset in Connecticut for awhile. It is another state that 9/11 effected greatly. It is not as liberal as it once was (RINO's notwithstanding) and has been off the radar.
Also, don't write off Maine yet. The Second District is loaded with Bush signs (on lawns - not public ways) so it will go for Bush - 1EV anyway - but if the turn out is large enough it could carry the state. Hopeful - yes - likely - probably not, but it is possible.
EVERYONE IN THE SECOND DISTRICT NEEDS TO GET OUT AND VOTE FOR PRESIDENT BUSH. I KNOW WE CAN DO IT.
nuf said, maggiefluffs. we are not the enemy. chill.
You've got a lot of nerve newbie. Do not post to me again.
hehe! John Kerry isn't fit to even WALK on the sacred ground of the Alamo!
***would have loved for Bush to campaign deep in the heart of Kerry bases in cities ***
remember the charming parade in NYC the day before the GOP convention opened? And that was with the city full of GOP conventioneers ... he doesn't need to be subjected to that. He's doing well going to the smaller cities in states the D's consider theirs.
