Zogby shows Kerry's advantage among women is only 3 percentage points, the same margin reflected in nightly tracking by Republican pollster Ed Goeas. The Goeas poll shows a 13-percentage-point Bush advantage among men. Goeas' poll has white men favoring Bush over Kerry, 58 percent to 35 percent. Remarkably, the count among white married women is not far behind: 53 percent for Bush, 42 percent for Kerry. The problem for the Democrats is Bush's continued large lead over Kerry concerning which candidate voters prefer to fight terrorism.

Fox News just showed polls where Kerry was leading in Fl., Pa., and Ohio. (I guess they need to keep people listening.)
To: slowhand520
I'm sure Zogby will make another "adjustment" or two in his predictions.
I like St. Louis in 6,....no, wait....7, ......no......, I like Boston now......., in 6........, ........NO, ....wait......Boston in 5........, wait.......in 4!
See, I was right!
These polls have been little more than a tool of the left for the most part.

"Fox News just showed polls where Kerry was leading in Fl., Pa., and Ohio. (I guess they need to keep people listening.)" It is reporting such as this is why I continue my boycott of FoxNews that started with the Presidential debates. Most polls show Bush up in Florida and Ohio, yet FoxNews chooses to report the opposite. What are they trying to do, become a CNN? Sheesh!

The difficulty that Kerry now encounters has been shrouded by misleading overnight tracking from last weekend, showing a Democratic surge that is common in Friday-through-Sunday polling. Otherwise, Kerry is in trouble. When Zogby had second thoughts Monday, he found Bush with a national lead of three percentage points and an undecided vote of only 2.7 percent
Weekend polling... Imagine that... What have we been saying about that all along?

If Zog sticks by this, he knows that the Rats can't get enough illegal votes to beat us.
He is the front man for their massive voter fraud. He claims the night before in the Nov 2000 election that Gore has a massive surge. Then the rats bring in their illegal and dead voters.
Then Zogby says, "See I told you so!"

Fox is CNN-lite, have been for quite a while. They are far better than the alternative but increasingly not by much. I predict within a couple of years they will be indistinguishable from the rest of the MSM.

I for one would be satisfied if there were not ONE DAMN MORE POLL UNTIL ELECTION DAY!
Most people have already made up their minds as to whom they will be voting for. The only reason for the polls this late in the game is to boost voter turnout for the MSM's chosen candidate. It's nothing more than voter manipulation.

That's too plain for an occasion like this. How about some schadenfreudische gaudiness?

Hence, the Bush campaign released the "Whatever it Takes" ad. And that ad is very, very compelling!
As one analyst noted a week or so ago, Kerry might trend up until about Thursday of this week (today) as voters take one last look at Kerry. This analyst said that it was likely that voters would then swing hard back to Bush. I do think we are seeing this play out.

OH is the key
i think PA is misleading due to voter fraud in the big cities
that being said if we can pull off PA we can go to bed real early :)

The Main Stream Media (MSM) is using polls to influence the election. They have attempted to build a groundswell of support for their candidate. They knew the real numbers favor President Bush, so the best they can do is continue with it is too close to call.
I don't think they have thought this all the way through. When the elections turns out to be a landslide for President Bush, all the predictions, and all the polls that showed "it was too close to call" will come under suspicion.
Pre-talk radio, and pre-internet, the dishonest efforts to influence voters would have been swept down the memory hole, they certainly would not revisit how they could have been so wrong.
But now, they have gone on record, and that record is available for anyone with access to a computer and the internet.
I think this is why Zogby is officially changing his position. He has done all he could to help Kerry, now is the time to save his own skin.

A week or so ago on Fox and Friends E.D. reported a poll that showed Bush behind in Florida but Fox accidentally showed the graphic from a different poll that showed Bush ahead. She got very flustered and basically told them to put up the right poll graphic (the Bush losing poll). It was a very disturbing moment.
