Signs of a Bush Victory - Ed Schultz Goes Nuts
Vanity | 10/29/04 | Shadowfax

Posted on 10/29/2004 6:29:38 AM PDT by Shadowfax

I have to admit that, as Sean says, my heart is troubled. There are a lot of signs that President Bush is going to win a closely contested race. But it's too close for comfort. Still...

I flipped on Big Eddie Schultz a couple of days ago to see what he's saying. (Actually, I'm pretty impressed with Eddie. He has a nice radio presence. However, because he's a liberal, he doesn't have a leg to stand on and must rely on lies to fill the three hours of his show.) I caught him during a rant in which he screamed about -

1) How he'd go anywhere at anytime to debate those "right wing blonde bimbos, Coulter and Ingraham."

2) The President has stated several times that if Kerry were in office after 9/11, Saddam would still be in power. What Bush doesn't tell us is that the world and the United States would be a safer, better place if that were the case.

After that, I had to turn it off and start hosing myself off. I felt so dirty.

Now, Eddie's a left wing loonie. No doubt about it. But this was over the top for him. Admitting and defending the fact that Kerry would have kept Saddam in power? Name-calling? He sounded really scared.

I think Bush is going to be okay. I don't hear this fear from conservatives. I hear concern, but no fear.

Never heard of Eddie Schultz. Is this someone who has strut and fretted his hour on the stage?

Even though I find myself in total and utter agreement with Laura Ingraham and Anne Coulter, I'd still debate them anytime, anywhere myself.

Problem is that they're close enough in some states that cheating - which always do and they WILL do again - COULD push them over into the win category for the Rats.

I haven't heard of this program, but speaking of liberals on the edge....did you see Phil Donahue on Fox last night? Talk about loud, shrill, angry, name calling and ready for a very long vacation. I'm seeing this more and more in the liberals appearances

I turned off Fox when I saw that the failed relic of the Old Left was on (Donahue)--now I find myself curious as to what he had to say. Would you mind a report? If you happen to know of a thread about Donahue, I'd appreciate.

But come on, can't you see the wisdom of the world being better off if Saddam were in power?

I mean think about it, if Hitler ruled the world, then as long as we all did what he said there'd be peace.

Here's his web site -

http://www.bigeddieradio.com/

He's pretty much a liberal Rush clone. As I said, he sounds pretty good on radio. Much better than Franken. But as he is a liberal, he's pretty much running propaganda radio. I think he's on about 6 stations. But nobody knows for sure as Eddie makes you register at his web site before he'll tell you where his show is heard.

This is because we do NOT fear. We aren't driven by fear and paranoia. This should be apparent to conservatives, although I don't think the left percieves, or understands it.

I think we're all concerned, but the left is going through thrashing motions in their (justified) fear that they'll be out of power for FOUR more years.

The thing that concerns me the most is their pattern of violence. As we get closer, and their prospects for winning look less and less viable, they become more violent and incoherent in their blind anger.

Given this pattern, I wonder what are they going to escalate to when GWB retains the Executive Office? The pattern is NOT that they hang their heads and appologize when caught in an untruth, or when their wrong thinking is exposed. The pattern is for them to "step it up", and drive even harder.

If GWB retains the Executive Office and the left keeps this pattern up, it's gonna be uglier than anything we've seen up to this point.

Why do people do this? First who is Sean that you agree with? Also why get depressed. Go vote and get everyone you can to vote.

Ummmmmmmm, he may not LIKE Coulter and Ingraham but I'd like to know on what PLANET they would be considered BIMBOS.
Bright ladies...both of them. I like Ingaham's style better but they are both pretty great.

Ed Schultz is talk radio in the Dakotas.....

I kid you not, the line in the hot link is how his "about" page starts. That's hard to type with a straight face.

Oh just the usual liberal talking points, but with so much anger and frustration. He is super liberal, socialist, and apparently feels that most of America is in line with him and them, and that Bush and everyone in his administration are dumb, stupid, wrong, no reason to be in Iraq...etc. Kerry is the world savior, etc. Oh, and he was furious that Bush "snubbed" France.

It was great to see him going off the deep end.

And then he couldn't understand why his show was ended and he was told go leave.

A liberal Rush clone?

No thanks -- I don't even like conservative Rush clones.
