Joanie...I believe that Bush will win and that it will be large enough to overcome the fraud, deciet, forgery, lies, etc. of the left.

At the same time, I still believe we are in mortal peril from both our enemies abroad and those domestice enemies seeking to undermine our great Republic.

If Kerry wins...we will be in for an even harder time, but will have to cinch up our belts even tighter and move forward. God in Heaven never said the road would be easy or not fraught with danger.

I still believe that our nation is the home of tens of millions of very good, dedicated, Christian patriots...and despite all else, in the end that remnant will make the difference. As for today's news...here's my thoughts.

1st...about the OBL tape:

2nd, about the Major Pearson munitions story:
I still believe the war in Iraq is brilliant. it has given the opportunity for freedom to millions...millions who want it and who are training and sending their own sons to die beside our own in the fight. it has created a fly-trap for terrorists where they are being killed by the thousands...maybe the tens of thousands so they cannot train and come here to fight. it has strategically surrounded the largest supporter of terror in the region, Iran, with our forces to their south in the ocean, to their east in Aghanistan and to their west in iraq.

Well...all of that was a mouthful. I am very optimistic about Tuesday...but committed to pressing forward in any case in the cause of liberty...and that means pressuring Bush to hold the line and make progress in areas where I feel he is delinquent in his second term.

J. I am about to drop but will read this tomorrow and
comment.
Have to take WBD to vet,as she's done SOMETHING to her
good rear leg and so is now hopping on the two front and
the bad rear.
To tell the truth, I rather feel that this election
is more like the early days of the republic, those were
hard fought campaigns and feelings ran high, too bad
code duello is outlawed now though.
I have high hopes for a landslide, a Bush Mandate is what
this country needs, I expected it last time after eight
years of X42 but Bush was an unknown then and we saw the
Donks tactics in play.
We certainly live in "interesting times", not time to
vote from the roof tops yet, but who knows.

More tomorrow.

War is coming, Joanie. Here. Soon. It's long past time that we deal with our domestic enemies. As Lee Harris has said -

"If the enemy is composed of men who will stop at nothing, who are willing to die and to kill, then you must find men to fight on your side who will do the same. Only those who have mastered ruthlessness can defend their society from the ruthlessness of others."

Time to put on our own Mask of Death.

The election is approaching quickly. We will volunteer all weekend on phone banks and on election day to get folks to the polls. We believe that the victory of President Bush is assured.

But God Almighty has already chosen who will occupy the white house. He always has.

Pray for the victory of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

Remember to vote and help others to the polls.

Very well done Joanie......

For the sake of our electoral process I hope it's a clear win for either party as I'm of the opinion our nation can't survive the MSM, their handlers , little gators and socialist polidiots screaming fire in a crowded country for personal gain, fame and ratings.

Of course I'm biased and will vote for GW and pray that for the "security" of our nation , our traditions, the republic for which we all stand and moralality as a civilization we try to cling to , that he wins.

If option 2 occurs Kerry will have just shut down the US executive and legislative branches of government as a GOP controlled , congress and senate will let him stain the office but not the country. Congresscritters will put a choke chain on the runt of the litter and all he'll be able to do is bark , lick his own (never mind) and piss on the roses per se.

Option 3 is what I believe will happen , a desired outcome. A clear landslide for the GOP to prove that the MSM "punk-dents" and pollsters were just drumming up ratings and web site hits etc all to further their sad sick little lives of being nothing but Life Members of the Liberal Losers Liars Club..........

Stay safe !

BTTT!

You nailed it, Joanie---especially the warning from Adams. He's the one who warned us about "our chains resting lightly" too.

So why aren't we listening to the wise men of our past?

I was feeling confident about a Bush victory all week until
1. I realized the media was dragging out every possible negative story against Bush (Halliburton, Iraq, missing weapons).
2. I heard 50,000 absentee ballots are missing in Florida.
3. I heard on Brit Hume's show that Bush is losing in Ohio.
4. I woke up today to find the Bin Laden trashing of Bush and endorsement of Kerry.

Now I'm really scared. I've cried today at the thought of losing our wonderful president.

I read someone called you a "national treasure" on another thread this week. I'm going to call you one again, just to refresh the consensus. ;)

Well done.

The mere fact that a traitor who is to the left of Ted Kennedy is dead even in the polls fills me with dread for our future.

I see a period of tribulation ahead for America.

A Civil War or Dirty War is not out of the realm of possibility.

"(1) If the election is close, the thousands of leftist trial lawyers hired by the DNC and/or Kerry/Edwards, who are already gearing up to take this election out of the hands of the American citizenry and place it in the hands of activist judges, will shift into high gear, and begin an all-out effort to use a combination of validating massive voter fraud, and fabricating pseudo-legal accusations against Bush/Cheney forces, to steal this election. They are preparing to make Florida 2000 look like a romp in the park."

If this scenario comes to pass, the Right cannot back down in the face of rampant voter FRaud...this election is too important!! The RATS may be irrationally angry, but the Right must remain resolute...our children's futures depend upon it!!

Bush must win.

There is NO other option that will keep this Nation together.

If that traitor Kerry should win...or if the thousands of lawyers (future fish-food) should descend upon our court system to force a Kerry Presidency...it would mean the beginning of a civil war.

The democrats have chosen the worst possible candidate as their nominee and to defend him have thrown all reasonable discourse and the 1st amendment out the window to win. How did this happen? They convinced themselves and their base that the 2000 election was 'stolen' and now is time for 'payback'. Party over country. They have become bankrupt.

We can learn a lesson from the swiftvets - publish the truth about this campaign. Create DVDs of the insane screaming matches and wild accusations. The democrats need reformed: I believe in 2 healthy parties but where we stand now, we are divided by white and black... I'd even go so far to say evil and good.

My faith has taught me that evil people who deceive will eventually expose their interiors to all.

This election will be close, whether it's by hook or by crook.
We will see legions of Democrat trial liers fanning out across the fruited plain. If you all recall 'Wizard of Oz' flying monkey scene? It'll look something like that.

I look for the Rats to pull out all the stops next week.

Regardless of the outcome of this election:
The democrat party is going to get get VERY nasty. You can bank on it.

Do we have to do a Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon flowchart in order to determine how the Wizard of Oz theme got introduced into a thread on the American election process? :)

Hilarious stuff going on here in my absence! The discussion of the flying monkeys with briefcases has me laughing out loud. (Lady Jag, we all await your graphic artistry to make real and in living color what we are all envisioning within our own punch-drunk heads. :)

On a more serious note (drat!) …

During my rounds of several Lancaster County neighborhoods today I had a long conversation with an attorney (Republican, through and through) who opened my eyes to some aspects of the democrat modus operandi that I'm ashamed to admit I hadn’t considered. He is not directly involved in the cases, but has several friends who are.

It seems that the thousands of lawyers, funded by democrat organizations, who have fanned out throughout the battleground states have already filed boatloads of lawsuits. Pre-election, they are already bogging down the courts in about a half dozen swing states in order to keep the Republican lawyers (most of whom are assuming a completely defensive posture) and Republican poll workers from being able to focus on their real calling: seeing to it that voter fraud does not rule the day on election day itself. It's a completely diversionary/sleight-of-hand ruse: they are filing hundreds of bogus lawsuits -- many of which have already been thrown out of court as frivolous -- simply to force the opposition to take its eye off of the corruption that will be rampant on Tuesday, especially in urban democrat strongholds.

Damn them.

Something of an aside (Hey! If the rest of you can resort to discussions of the accurate color of the face of the Wicked Witch of the West, I can offer my own digression … :)

Here are some recent photos of American troops in Iraq (courtesy of The Federalist Patriot) – troops who would no doubt find themselves cavalierly accused by the democrat presidential candidate of randomly shooting at civilians, razing villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Kahn (and worse), if it would further his political ambitions, and if his accusations against American military men could not be readily disproven ... this time:

If you aren’t already (and I know many, if not all, of you are), please spend as much time as you can over the next two days trying to open the sleeping eyes of those who do not comprehend that a man who seizes every opportunity to degrade and endanger these decent, courageous, duty-bound men cannot become their Commander in Chief. If you aren’t able to make phone calls or go door-to-door, then talk with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. Don’t make assumptions that people with whom you regularly rub elbows are aware and informed of the insidious histories of the two men who comprise the democrat ticket. Don’t assume that they are aware of the miraculous progress this administration is making in the war on terror and the rebuilding of liberated Iraq. Find out how much they don’t know. And, if there is a deficit in their knowledge, educate them! After Tuesday, it will be too late.

Again, many thanks for all of the insightful and informative comments made on this thread. I wish that we posters here represented the American electorate at large. Then we'd have nothing to do but sit back and wait for the best man to win. (*sigh*)
