Need Info About Church if Kerry Campaigns at Tax-Exempt Pulpit Tomorrow
Self | 10/30/2004 | Self

Please post information about pulpit campaigning by Kerry and gang. Last week Kerry flaunted his appearance at a Baptist church during service. This would not be tolerated by the Dem's if Bush were doing the same. Please post any information so that those who wish to pursue IRS complaints and subsequent lawsuits will have a head start.

You seem to miss the point. The churches involved in this type of campaigning are simply playing partisan politics. Yet, if a church endorses Bush or mentions any conservative politics on the pulpit they are destroyed. WHAT IS GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER

I notice your tag as "Catholic and Vote". There is a lawsuit against a Catholic church (on freerepublic in the last couple of days) because they had a handout about the candidates stands of abortion. Yet Kerry is allowed to speak at any church of his choosing and slam the president with sayings like "faith without works is..." etc. You see why this offensive is important...

BigGayAl Gore and the Swimmer are scheduled to "attend" churches (i.e., give a campaign speech) tomorrow, too:

.... Former Vice President Al Gore, the 2000 Democratic presidential candidate, plans to attend church services and rallies in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Flint. Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., is to attend services at several churches in Detroit. source

It's simply beyond my comprehension why the 'RATS can carry on at...liberal churches, yet if conservative, Bible believing churches even mention W in passing in the pulpit, the wrath of the 'RATS and the arm of the IRS is threatened!

I can tell you that pastors out here are a little reticent to say anything. HOWEVER, outside the church is another story. Bible studies are another story, too. We're all talking!

A friend in Kalifornicate told me this morning that, even out there, the evangelicals are on the move, big time. This has been my experience here, too. I think evangelicals feel guilty, and rightly so, for not voting in 2000.

Also, how any self-respecting and God fearing Baptist could vote for SKerry is totally beyond me!

Pray!
